The Poker Room has opened. 3 tables offering 1-2 No Limit Texas Holdem and 2-4 Limit Texas Holdem.
8 hours of rated poker play qualifies for a "food comp" at the deli case of "A Little Munch."

Thanks stimpy, I am planning to visit that location today.
We got a two free nights at that place.
Did you visit this room? Experience?
I was gonna suggest a few things to the poker room manager when I go there.
1. Rake reduction promotion for bringing home games to the location.
2. Sit-n-go's whenever they have 10 names on the list. 40+10, 60+15 and 80+20 denominations.
3. NFL Game time splash pots.
4. Resort room/Golf giveaways.
5. Active participation on 2+2.

By accident. I was traveling through and stopped and didn't even know that it existed. I mean the entire place. There was one table going 7 handed and I only played briefly. So nothing really to report. They don't have Bravo. The manager is really the table games manager. I am not sure they even knew about 2+2. I told them I would post something. They don't currently have any jackpots or promotions, but kudos to them for the food comp. They are all the way out in Western MD and even they realize they need to do something to attract people, unlike Perryville.
When you go, get more details on rake. I didn't even think to ask. I assumed it was 10% 5 dollar max. I don't even know. They certainly aren't raking for a bbj.

They had 1-3 NL. Most of the day time they were running a short handed NL table. During the night time Friday/Saturday they had three tables.
Max rake it $5. No BBJ.
The location is beautiful. Lot of the other activities to do in and around.
Also, where else can you get free Starbucks regular coffee refills. The table limits for other table games is $10 on a Saturday night.
Nice place, spoke with the poker room manager and he said he will sign up for 2+2 soon.

Guessing traffic never picked up, lol. I was reading a PM stimpy sent me almost a year ago and was thinking "whos stimpy" and stumbled here.
Really pretty resort. Drive by it sometimes when I head out camping or take the long road back from Pittsburgh. Unfortunate there isn't more traffic for the place.

Its not really a poker room just 3 tables in the casino lobby, games don't start til in the evening and are over by midnight. Occasionally there will be a game into the early morning hrs on the weekend but rarely.

Stumbled onto this place this past weekend. My girlfriend and I signed up for their card and both got $20 in slots credit and lost it all. I feel like the casino itself was really dark and the age of the patrons skews to the very old age range. But the beautiful resort had a nice looking golf course on the property. So I may find myself out there with the girlfriend to play golf and hike around the area.
I had a hell of time finding the "poker room" but it was in front of me in the entire time in the main lobby. It was such an odd place for tables. There were no games running on a friday afternoon but I think there were a few people milling about waiting for a game to start.

Hey does anyone have any info on this poker room? I'm staying with family outside Cumberland this memorial day weekend and I was thinking about checking the place out. What limits and how many tables typically run? I didn't find it on Bravo.

Nevermind. I went there and there were no games running so I blew my BI at the craps table in like seven minutes FML.
