I have played at Rivers a few times, I think 5-5 PLO mostly goes evenings Fridays and Saturdays. They don't offer 1-2 PLO, instead they run a 1-3-6 PLO game with the 6 being a mandatory button straddle. The 1-3-6 game seems to run pretty often based on my limited experience, maybe 4 - 5 days a week.

$1,000 for the 1-3-6 game, probably $2,000 for the 5-5
Meadows has a 2-5 PLO game on Tuesdays that you might be interested in as well depending where you are coming from. I plan on playing in that game here in the next few weeks, depending on when I am in the area next for work.
Meadows game also runs most Sundays. Rivers 5/5 can be difficult to get into at times due to initial game lineup being predetermined. You need a couple guys to leave and that doesn't always happen.
5-5 plo is actually a 5-5-10 plo game with the 10 being a mandatory button straddle. Sometimes they move the minimum to 2k but most of the time it is 1k and the Max is always uncapped. It plays huge.

Yes, that is the plan. It needs to hit two more times from what I understand. The current jackpot (around $160K) and then it needs to hit again to pay out the reserve and future drops at that point go towards a new high hand promotion which hasn't been announced yet that I know of.

not just high hand promotions...there is a promotion in september where the top 20 hour players get a seat into a 20k freeroll, plus 15 more wild card players chosen by hot seat...plus everyone playing at least 30 hours in september gets a random horse to back in the freeroll, all the winners who backed the right player split 10k
