Anyone playing in that 500k for $109?
I am from the states and sadly won't be able to try any online flights.

Will this smash the GTD with 28 total flights?

From my understanding all payouts will be done vie party poker.

Is that true? And if so, will it restrict entrants from regions which cannot play for real money on party poker?

Yeh wtf. Let me call them now and ask

Just called... I was the first person to bring this to their attention

He is going to find out details and give me a call back tomorrow. Will update then.

Yes for the one event - the Canadian Grand Prix - all payouts are via partypoker. Confirmed - but I will look into what the implications are for players who are from non-partypoker parts of the world. Stay tuned - I won't have a definitive answer until tomorrow but I will have one then for sure.

All other events in the WCC plus the WPTN happening simultaneously are paid out in cash as any other event (or check or whatever you'd like really).

Thanks Mike. Not sure if it counts but party poker is in NJ right? Could money be sent there?

Really hoping they can work something out for this. Would love to come up and take a shot for it

I'm over 99% certain we'll have a simple solution - I should have a definitive answer later today.

OK - consider it 100% confirmed - Other methods of payment will be made a available to you if you're from a location where partypoker does not operate.

This place looks great! When is a good time of year/good month to visit for a longish weekend? Ideally lots of poker action (maybe coincide with a big tournament or event?).

Can you setup an account and keep your money at the cage? Or do they have safe deposit boxes here?

WPT schedule looks great. Can you guys get a thread going for the event?

We'll get that together soon - we're still super busy with the World Cup of Cards at the moment.

maybe ill get a response,

whats the rake at PLO 2/2-5 ? Im guessing 1/2 plo doesnt exist anymore, just made it more even with 2/2.(max buy in $500 I assume too)

Also as a side question, is it reg-infested or does it get a bunch of new faces. I know PLO can be a slightly reg-y game because its lack of popularity,

OK so I'm happy to answer - I'm not much of a PLO player so I can't characterize the play or relative reg-infestedness of the game.

In any case we now run $2/$2 and $2/$5 games. The rake on the $2/$2 is 10% max $10 with $100-$300 buy-in limits, while the $2/$5 game rake is 5% Max $14 with $200-$1000 buy-in limits.

Rake will be going up as of Monday. BBJ drop will now also be 2$. What a joke...

Win a 20$ pot and have 2$ taken out for rake and 2$ taken out for bad beat. And have the dealer look at you for a tip.

Not 100% for PLO so won't comment. But I think the new structures are for NLHE are:

1/2. 10% capped at 9$ + 1$BBJ + 1$ promo dollar
2/5. 5% capped at 15 + 1$BBJ +1$ promo dollar

It's not very openly displayed so I'll have more details when I stop by later this week. Looks like the promos will only be during bad weekday hours. So evening and weekend regs should be pretty upset. Also strange timing as the casino is more buzzing these days and lots of talk about snakes/palace poker reopening.

Not sure why they introduced a promotion drop along with a rake increase. Edit: they are just calling it a bbj drop. Here are the details for promotion but none on the increases.

Is this for real? Sad. I really regret not playing there when I was in Montreal last year too.

Is that 2/5 rake real lmao wtf. 17 dollar cap? Is that normal? Are the games juicy enough there to make that rake structure bearable?
