i find that even the small one table rooms that have internet presence on finding their rooms get the business in towns. people google poker or use bravo or whatever to find a game when traveling. and if your place is listed and tells what you have it is the one they go to first.

Hi TonySoprano9, the 5-10 PLO is usually a pit game which has a fluid schedule. I'll pm you the phone number to the host. The regular 2-5 PLO game goes almost daily and every Friday. We are working on communicating game availability and should have better information in the coming weeks.

Thanks,
TTJ

There's a big resale market where they buy them for $300 and try to resell them for $550ish this close to the tournament. I spent the past 3 (I think?) Feb hustling them hard. Bought and sold around 200 tickets between the 3 seasons. A lot of profit to be made but the difficulties in working with the staff makes it not worth it. If you're looking to buy a bunch of them be sure to have this knowledge as a negotiating tool... Maybe they'll give you a better rate if you buy 4 of them, etc. Plus these big buyers are motivated to sell them all to one person as it's so much less hustling for them.

Sure. From 10-4 and 4-6 highhands every 20 minutes. at the :20 and :40 it is $250 and on the hour the tickets. They post the table number on the screen so you should be able to make an offer. There may also be longer period high hands during the hours I left out.

It varied for each depending on the seller. From what I've heard and what I paid they're going for 375-450 in person but I know people are asking for more online because they have to register you and because you have less options. I just walked the room and asked every table if anyone had tickets and negotiated from there. The scalper types are selling them for higher prices than the individuals who lucked into a high hand, so if you can be around for a few ticket giveaways you'll be more likely to get a better price by approaching the table with the high hand.

Noah or josh,

Just wondering what the house rule is if heads up in a cash game. The 2nd player goes out of turn and brings $50 out to middle of table and starts cutting it to bet $35 then dealer says it's his turn. First player checks, what does the 2nd player have to do? He cut a stack of 15 out before dealer stopped him. Can he just check, bet the minimum, have to keep 15 in, do any amount he wants?

Hi gator-rob,

I have to preface my comment with the recognition that every scenario is different, and that floor calls hinge on the specifics of each hand. For instance, did the player verbalize $35 before he cut chips? If not, the amount he cut would be his action (again, pending any other mitigating details). In that case, the player who acted out of turn would be obligated to bet $15 if the player who was skipped chose not to change the action by checking. I cannot stress enough that there are all sorts of minor-seeming details that could have an effect on the call in question, and this answer should not be taken to mean that the call the floor person made at the time of the hand was in any way incorrect.

Thanks,
TTJ

Well the dealer never told the floor about him cutting chips so he ruled he could check and the dealer and floor said you can bring out a stack of chips into the middle of the table and as long as "chips aren't released" he can just take them all back and check.

Is that true thst the house rule is they have to be released for it to be a bet? And you can just angle all day by putting a stack of 100 out there and holding it there for a few seconds and get the players reaction without being held to a minimum bet at least?

It is definitely an angle, I wish everyone would go back to a betting line, once you cross it...

Most of the vouchers say they expire on 02/01 which would be tomorrow.

yea if he released chips into the pot then those are a bet. if he didnt get that far and the dealer stopped him it was just a mistake. it isnt an angle for him as all he can get is the worst of it. the floor may make him leave it all in or part of it or not let him bet any of it.

the first player can just insist he said check or tapped the table and the second player bet so the bet would stand as it should. i wish every time the next guy bets or acts out of turn.
