It really looks like you're an employee of the Isle who made this account to talk **** about PBKC.

OMG! You don't say. That's an issue that everyone who knows anything about that room already knows. Not sure what new perspective you think you're bringing.

However that's not the worst of it. While playing in a live game I left the table to go check on my wife during a break in the Tournament. I was gone 22 minutes. When I returned they had removed my chips from the table where I was playing. Shocked I asked the Floor what was going on and was informed if you were gone from the table " 20 minutes " , they pick up your chips and you lose your seat. Now I have played poker all over the world and I have never heard of such. I asked him to show me where it said that in the posted house rules and he could not. It was not there. He said "that's just our rule " but could not tell me how I was suppose to know that if noone tells you and it's not posted. Very poorly run room with hidden rules. Beware if you every play in Florida and avoid this room at all costs. Much much nicer room at Pompano Beach 20-30 minutes down the road.
Did you ask the dealer before you left how long you could be away from the table? Did you ask a floor manager before you left how long you could be away from the table?

FWIW, I think 20 mins is an excellent rule. I've said it before in other threads, but anything longer than 15-20 mins should be dinner list territory.

Noah and the rest of the staff here at Palm Beach Kennel Club put players number one on our priority list. We feel that the limit change has opened up a fresh new opportunity for Florida, and proudly support all pari-mutel cardrooms in the State. The Florida Million Tournament is an example of our dedication to Poker, not only in Palm Beach County, but the entire State.

With the World Series of Poker Circuit event coming up in February, we're certainly open to fresh perspectives and critique. After all, we want to be the best poker room in what we feel is the best State in the nation. If you have any questions or concerns, come on in. My name is Josh and you literally can't miss me...

I can assure you the players are prolly the ones enforcing this as I have seen sitting players asked to be picked up. Definitely a courtesy rule as players hate seeing an empty seat. Chips or not.

Also, are you sure they put 2 on the button, I have never heard of this. And to go on,tell me why it's bad. I love a Mississippi straddle.

I thought you play there everyday. How do you not know this? unless you only play bigger than 1/2nl then you might not know.

Yes $2 live post on button. Im not sure if they allow live staddle there.
$2 post on button is not the same as $4 live staddle anyway.

well do they allow live straddle there? would be better to just staddle the button everytime anyway rather than just post the $2.

Wrong, I was playing in Omaha 8 game when it started and you where in the 9 seat. You left after the first one or two hands to check on your wife. You were gone for 40-45 minutes, not 20. I hope your wife did well!

They do allow sttraddle but only UTG position. Unless your in the pit, they will let you straddle anywhere.

just got back from the pbkc. played in the pit my whole trip and ran pretty bad. it really got ridiculous at times but w/e ill chalk it up to variance. anyway the anywhere straddle is pretty crazy and its for any amount so for ppl like me who were down 6 buy ins would straddle for $50 in MP. the rules are very player friendly, perhaps "too" player friendly...it can use a little bit more regulation. overall my experience was great. noah was great, thanks for the food. the food was decent, but my taste buds are spoiled as im from chicago so take it as u may. ill most likely be returning next year

oh willie was great too. actually the whole staff was great. over here once in a while u get a staff give u a smart ass comment and laughs it off to try and sweep it under the rug as a joke but it gets annoying. none of that in florida. i like.

sorry, i was there and I dont know everyones name. I can say that the top 5 qualified at the Kennel club , so like the one at derby lane, it seem to have a home court advantage.

They did do an ICM chop at final table so no-one took more than 100k.

Yes they have 3 blinds, (another Big on the button which will guaruntee a rake) Alot of people hate it but its some thing that the house does to help action get going. Those games are so nitty. The bigger games dont have it so if you play 2/5 you wont encounter it.

Dont let this deter you as the games can be very juicy.
