PLO is Wed and Sat night and u need to get there early. It's played NLHE and PLO 2/5 round by round. Last Saturday we made it a 5/5 table. If you want to play at this table on Saturday, you need to get to McCarthy's at 12:00 to make the first 10.

IF you get there late you can play 3/6 or 1/2 for $100.00 or 75/150 mixed at Foxwoods.

Willing to play you HU up to $30/$60 Mix (H-O-R-S-E-A-T-B-A5 w/ $1,200 min) or $50/$100 stud 8 ($2,000 min).

They'll spread it for us as a time game as long as we take care of the dealer each down.

EDIT: No T-B-A5 because FW can't spread draw games

I dont care what anyone states or argues. Its the internet! But when I know something is wrong, I state facts.

As for scum and Cle? Well there is WAY more scum at Nautica than any other poker room I think. So I agree with JWilk. But to say there are no cool people? There are a handful for sure. You have to understand that as a whole CLE poker players have some great players. We have a former online ledgend that plays there. We have a top 30 (former pre black friday) tournment player that plays daily. We also have a 2/4 3/6 5/10 NL grinder who has won hundreds of thousands online that plays daily. There are many more but these are the 3 that stand out. And they probably arent the best down there at all.
who is the online legend?

I played 2/5NL at that charity casino one time for less than an hour....cause well, that place is downright awful. I could train monkeys to deal better (it's cute how players have to help the dealers with the RULES of the game and how player make their own change out of the pot LOL).

It's a charity casino, so indeed the rake is high (to be expected) but the atmopshere is extremely off-putting.

The 2/5 games almost always get better dealers than the 1/2. They usually stick the most competent organization volunteers on those games, or usually there is a busto degen who had turned temp. volunteer who will deal.

What do you expect with real* volunteer dealers? The games are still consistantly amongst the softest I've ever played.

* real as in they are legitimately not being paid, unlike many better run "charity" events

While I agree with what you are saying it's Cleveland's only option. These people are VOLUNTEERS, and most people know what they are getting into before they come here. The 2/5 dealers are usually the more experienced ones, but seriuosly, would you rather this or nothing?

I understand/expect the dealers to be slow and inexperienced that doesnt bother me.. When a dealer burns and turna before i can take action on the button and the floor comes over and tells me its my fault i should be paying attention and its my fault they can fk off.. There is one guy down there i forget his name but hes a real nice guy and seems to have a good idea whats going on but the rest of them are a joke

Re: Nautica Charity Poker Festivals (Cleveland, OH)

I think that most would agree that the dealers at Nautica are not up to the compentency level of a standard poker room dealer. It will be interesting to see how the Horseshoe Dealers perform after completing the 12 Week training course.

Question: will any of the regular contributors on this thread continue to play at Nautica when the Horseshoe opens on March 26th?
