That's nice to hear that they'll be open 24/7 again, any insight on the rumors?

Nice to see Mount Airy show up on the Bravo live app finally! Can anyone confirm that the room is 24/7 again?

Now we can get up to the minute information on the games at the worst poker room in PA. It's 1 small step for Mount Airy, one giant spotlight on garbage.

While truly this room is lacking in comparison to other poker arenas, it does attract some of the softest players around. The management is attempting to draw more customers and I assume it will take some time to do so. In the interim I will enjoy pickin on the fish that already attend their venue..

Dont think they will ever have the poker revenue that Sands does but at least they notice that they are pretty far behind in the revenue stream..

C ya at the tables

I'm due for a visit. It's good step towards the right direction that they're on Bravo app now and went back to being open 24/7. Somehow space out the tables more and then you'll be headed in the right direction.

They also added larger chip racks for the dealers now and you can buy-in directly at the table. The downside is that they eliminated the cage up there, so the dealer ends up coloring up people at the table (which can be time consuming) and then you have to go down to the main cashier in the casino to cash out. I hadn't been to the room in about 2 weeks and went on Friday. The action was good and the room had a different feel to it than it had had in the past. They are trying, I'll give them that. I almost fell over when I saw MA pop up on the Bravo poker app.

Haha so did I when I see them pop up on Bravo. Thats disapointing to hear that they eliminated the cage up there I hope they did it for good reason like expanding the room out to the cage area.

Based on this news (Bravo, racks), I am willing to give Mt. Airy another shot. I am still a Borgata reg, but I will make a few guest appearences to check out the action and facilities. America is a forgiving nation, and I am a forgiving poker player.

Re: Mount Airy Casino·Resort (Mt. Pocono, PA)

Was there tonight. Played 1/2 and sat on the wait list for 2/5 for 3 hours. Juicy action. Bought in for 300 and cashed out 770 I believe in 3 hours. So much limping. I had a good card run which helped but c-betting took it down most of the time. Nobody had a clue about position play. Just general 1/2 asshatery.

Mike I don't think there is any way they are expanding the room. They don't have the demand to do that just yet. Eliminating the cage is just part of a procedure change in doing fills. The dealers now drop cash at the table (like they do at pit games) and then they get a fill of chips every few hours. They keep a row of blacks in the tray to color people up when they are done. I assume they still need the space where the cage is for tournament registration on Fridays.

Re: Mount Airy Casino·Resort (Mt. Pocono, PA)

Was there on sat nite, was told that they will be spacing the tables soon...it does seem that the room has more energy to it, action was fairly decent. Only major gripe is the cig smoke hopefully they can do something to make it better

I just mean spacing the tables out more maybe into that area so when you go there to play poker your not also playing bumper chairs. I agree they definitely don't need an expansion yet although it probably would be the #1 way to re promote the room and get people to come back and check it out. I'll probably pay a visit sometime this week.

Stopped in briefly while I was in the area again. I would recommend putting up some more TV's (easy enough). Also allowing the poker room to control changing channels upstairs. Sometimes its the simple and easy things that every other poker room has.
