As for FW, management finally smartened up and realized an empty room is not the way to go so prices have been lowered and therefore are getting booked more.

re: Mohegan Sun Poker Thread

anyone see this? At ms playing 1/2 yesterday, table next to me is 120 sng. 5 seat is coughing and sneezing directly into his hand. It is liquidy. Other players are putting their shirts up over their mouths. Players complaining to the floor and floor jsut brings him tissues which postuse he is wedging in the cupholder. He wins sng the table is not cleaned and a 2/4 game begins. Disgusting.
This player goes up in the high roller area and sits in another cash game where people are sketched.
IMO if you are sick don't go to the casino

re: Mohegan Sun Poker Thread

First time in the poker room at Mohegan Sun yesterday. I must say, I am impressed. I really liked it.

Only problem is trying to get a room for the night. I don't feel like paying $500 for the night.

1/2 is $300. I think $2/5 is $500.

Don't know what the min/max is for 1/2 but for 2/5, the min/max is $100/$500.

Can't answer re MS, but FW has been offering regular players 2 free rooms/week Sunday thru Thursday for the last 2 months and through at least April. Website sometimes offers anyone the same rooms for $49/night (Sun-Thurs.) a few weeks in advance. (Prices go up if rooms start to sell.)
As an aside, I think that this has actually tightened and toughened the weekday NL games somewhat. More regulars, fewer tourists.

How would cheaper hotel rates equate to less tourists?

The rooms you are refering @ Foxwoods to is only those who hold "WPT BLACK LABEL" cards. Those are the ones who spend their life there.

This isn't true. I as well as many others do not have a black card and I got the 2 free rooms a week for the month of April. Also many others got it for all of February and March.
