Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
Is a live games report ever going to get up on BravoPokerLive? No shame in having a smaller number than Foxwoods if that's the problem.
I'd like to know how many games get going over there... anyone with a rough estimate? Mon-Thu? Fri? Sat?

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
okay, this is kinda of a vague question but I'm going to be at foxwoods pretty much the whole weekend, and I have to swing buy mohegan at some point, I've got like 78 dollars worth of redbirds and a couple 1's I have had at home for some unknown reason for like 2 years. What would be best time to come and since I'm there play a few hours cash. When does 2/5 usually start up? are their ANY stud games running anymore at all?

Stud takes time to get a game going but I've seen it,
Never not seen a 2/5 game going after 10AM

There is usually at least one table of 1-5 stud going.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
I goto MS and drive from New haven area (1hr 15 mins) 3-4x a week. Almost every session I'd drive back home around 3-7am and fall asleep driving every 10 seconds (even after consuming many redbulls & coffee). This is really unsafe obviously. And there were many times were the table was profitable and I had to leave because I knew I wouldn't be able to drive if I stayed longer. There has to be a better way to get to MS coming from New Haven/Milford area for the same or reasonable price that Im paying gas to MS (I pay $20 gas round trip). Bus or train maybe?
Does anyone in thread use the bus? train?

I've looked into the buses. There are asian buses you can fetch for $10 in my area(north of Boston). Problem is that a 1.5hr trip to Mohegan turns into 3 hours after stops and same for the ride home so a total of 6 hours travel time instead of 3. Then your bus home departs 5 hours later and the schedules pretty much suck. Not sure how the buses are down that away.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
I've taken bus trips to Mohegan and Foxwoods many times. There is a bus that leaves from Meriden and one from Union Station. They give you vouchers which pretty much cover the fare. Many times I've used these free bet vouchers to freeroll into cash games for the min or close to it. The only downside is you cannot choose which bus you want to take home, so you are limited to only spending ~6 hours playing. You can google landjet bus or greyhound and it will explain the details. GL.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
i have a really small bankroll at the moment and i've noticed at Mohegan they run a $1/$1 game. i've been playing 1/2 and i was wondering should i be playing in the 1/1 game so that i can buy in for 100bb with a smaller percentage of my br or does it play pretty much the same?

If you consider yourself an okay poker player I wouldn't bother playing 1/1. Especially with the rake, it's tough to beat the house. I've sat in a 1/1 game on 3 occasions with my brother while he got a feel for poker at a casino. The game plays pretty nitty. Expect 5-6+ players to the flop for $1. Easy way to get out-flopped and lose to a hand like 9-2o. Plus the buy-in is $60-$100, so there's not a whole lot of money to win at the table. Like I said if you're an okay player and you're trying to grind up a bankroll, stick with 1/2. There's enough fish out there that if you're patient you can win money.
If you're afraid to/don't want to/can't afford to lose $200 at 1/2, then give 1/1 a try. But IMO it's not worth playing.
