I was there during that period on Friday September 30th, and the first 2-5 table was being dealt by 8AM, with a second added later in the morning and both of them running into the afternoon. I don't play there much, but when I do it's usually on weekdays during daylight hours, and that's the earliest I saw 2-5 running, but I've also almost never not seen a table before noon. Regardless of the specific weekday or the time of year, once weekday 2-5 tables are filled, you can count on at least 50% regs at each one.

I know the game usually runs early. You did answer my question though. I was wondering about the regs. Seemed like almost every morning I ever played there it was five or six of the same exact people. Nice guys and all, but not great for the game. I feel like if I notice so do other people and it discourages people from getting into those games. I am considering moving back to full time play and trying to figure out hours to play. I haven't played the woods in years. Any opinions on the games over there?

FYI , Reg does not often equal good player, It just equals a player who is good at showing up often.

Like a person who's first name would precede the word bear? lol. Are you a regular in those 2/5 games? I am wondering if I know any of the people on this forum. I'll be heading up at some point this week. I may play down the road, heard its bananas right now with the WPF.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
Looking to take a trip up there and to FW today. What are the buy in and rake structures at the 1/2 and 2/5 levels and how many tables of each are running?

I agree too, but I think I'd still prefer to play 2-5 against a table of randoms versus one that has a good chunk of regs. At minimum, regs will know each others' tendencies and in some cases might be prone to do what many might consider soft play against each other.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
I can't believe I'm asking this, but how often does 1/1 run?
A good friend of mine is ridiculously horrible at poker but wants to give it a shot. He is the definition of a calling station and I don't want him to lose too much too fast so I'm thinking 1/1 is the way to go.
Is that game always running on weekends? Particularly early morning Sat or Sun.
TIA

I checked MS website and it's listed for Sunday Nov 20th, they run it every 3rd Sunday of the month. They posted the results from the 1st/2nd ones close to 2am, so I'm guessing the tourney probably runs for 15 hours from 10am to 1am. I couldn't make the first two, but want to make the next one. GL

no Bankroll is big enough for the pits or even a bad stretch of tilt. But if you can avoid those and depending on bills I would say somewhere near 20buyins is a good bench mark.

Re: Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT)
Anyone interested in starting a weekly mixed game? Maybe bring the pink chip game back? ($7.50 a $15 HORSE) maybe add crazy pineapple. Will settle for a 4-8 HOSE or HORSE or 6-12 and play with turtle chips. Think if this game gets going on a weekly basis people will catch up and it will become a great action game. Anyone interested let me know

Yeah I'm a little shy of that right now. Do most people buy in full 800? I was always used to the game with a 500 max before they changed it.
You gonna be up tonight? I'll be there. Pobably dabbling in 1/2 maybe take a shot at the 2/5 if i pick up some chips in that game.
I think i may know you.
