Mohegan announced the multi flight Holiday Hangover tourney again...are we assuming the structure will be the same as last year?

Don't tell anybody. See if they remember to tell anyone. Their Twitter feed has been dormant since July. Their "blog" has five entries since April. They're apparently trying a new marketing strategy.

15k starting stack
skipping 100/200-25; 250/500-75, which seems standard for this type of event
Not a best stack forward event
Play to level 14 or 12% of the field in any given flight

Yes thank you. I had also found the structure from last years tourney. Was wondering if we are assuming it will be the same structure. But, as you alluded to, we probably won't get confirmation of that for a while haha.

Amtrak from Penn Station to New London seems like an OK option. Is taxi from new London to MS the only option from there? Does the casino provide any type of shuttle bus service from new London????

I was also hoping to find some dirt cheap asian bus from Chinatown or flushing as an alternative. Those can be fun as you're kind of gambling with your life as to whether or not you even make it to the casino. Talk about going all in!!

At Foxwoods for the Monday Madness right now, and an old guy who claims to be a Mohegan reg also claims that there is a 2-5 Max (buy in to match table chip leader) that runs pretty frequently these days. True/false?

It's run the last two weekends. The key is to get there when the first 2/5 game opens Thu/Fri... once a 2/5 gets going it's next-to-impossible to change it or open a separate 2/5 MAX.

Game was pretty great the first week (big stack got to $6k and the game ran Thu-Sun continuous) and goodish the second (big stack $7k? but less traffic). The snow ruined it Saturday.

They need 250 but with 170 today, they make it for sure. Looks like they may get a prize pool over 80k. Have to work this into the schedule.
