Poconopike, that is a great idea and something that I have thought of. Im not sure what the end result will be but I do know that there is a set of doors that lead directly to the apron. Whether or not these are used when we open I dont know.

While there will be 25 tournament tables, expect to see Sit n Gos before multi table tournaments. To my knowlegde the state hasnt yet approved tournaments in their regulations. As soon as they give the go ahead expect to see a variety of single table tournaments including "Bounty" and "Survivor" style Sit n Go's.

ablanda,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looked to me like everything is ready to go for the state inspection. Any idea when that is being done?

There is still no "official" date yet. However, it does appear right now that its in the july 5th-9th range.

I have no experience running or promoting a poker room but this does seem like a good way to introduce a few more people to poker in a casino.

How much advertisement can you do for something like this in Pa.? Would you advertised it if possible? Will MTT be listed on your web site?

Im not really sure what the Marketing Department has planned for advertising the Poker Room.

Your best bet is to check on here because if im unable to give updates im sure plenty of players will be eager to let you know whats going on in the Poker Room once its open.

Now whoever plays in the room let's share our experiences with everybody it shows alot of promise when u have the head of the room trying to seek opinions just to make for a better playing experience

I'm curious ablanda if u play and what are your favorite games

Thank you for the kind words PPIKE555. However, my goal right now is to just answer questions regarding the opening of the room, limits, tourns, rake structure, etc... So the players in this area can have facts not just rumors of whats going on. I would rather you guys come to me personally when the room opens to express your likes and dislikes rather than use this forum in such a manner.

Does MS@PD poker room have a twitter account yet? If so, can you please post your account name so that I can follow.

Thanks!

I can't wait to play here.

I'm going to AC july 3-7th from state college pa and I'm hoping to stop in for a day if the ball and chain is willing.

How far of I 80 will I have to go?
