It is. especially in we sense that a guy is aggressively bumhunting or dodging blinds. we reserve the right to control seating... and will do so when necesssry

Thank you. Had someone other week move to our table for 1 hand, move to another table, and within 15 minutes was at another table behind us, and within an hour or so back at our table. Hard to keep full tables with people bouncing around so much

what IS your table-change policy? i played a long session of 2-5 there last weekend; i changed tables one time early on in my sesh after speaking to a floorman and requesting to be put on the table-change list. during the rest of the night i must've seen at least half a dozen different players pick up and seat themselves at other 2-5 games, completely at their own whim, and felt like a total sucker for not doing the same.

The floor controlled table changes really well the first few months. I have noticed more people lately seating themselves and transferring without asking. I think the removal of the seat cards lead to this. The policy is that you need to ask the floor and have them move you.

the floorpersons (and, just as importantly, the dealers) need to enforce the policy then. if it becomes a de facto free-for-all, even otherwise fair-minded players will end up following suit.

I transfer about once per session on average, and i would say they enforce their xfer policy better than almost anywhere ive been (id say about 60%-70%). Generally I ask floor if i can move, they say ok (or i need to wait a bit first), and then the dealer normally makes sure i xferred properly at about the rate i listed above, Its possible regs get away with it at a higher clip.

Most places id say enforce the policy like 10% of the time, which is worse than enforcing it 0%

The 5 card game is in need of a must move. I feel like the constant table changes are a major distraction with tons of angle shooting and rat holing. I thought maybe the must move would create more work for the floor but it seems like there are enough table changes and arguments that a must move would be easier for the floor.

Just back from a few days playing at Aria.

Its really amazing how great it is to play 2/5 9 handed. Game moves that much quicker and more importantly it cant be overstated how great the extra space is.

JG - I know you said you would think about moving 2/5 to 9 handed - which it was initially stated it would be - when things normalized. Any update on that?

It was amazing to watch one floor at Aria run the check in desk, calling down the lists, answering player questions *and* taking call ins. For almost 8 hours she was running an unbelievably efficient one woman show. Makes me wonder *why* MGMNH will still not take call ins for more games since there are usually two if not three people working the front when its busy. FWIW Aria takes call ins for every game, every level, had long lists - and they dont seem to have an issue running things.

Also, their PLO must move game worked like a charm. The main game was kept humming with no issues at all. Really hope this option is reconsidered.

I doubt anybody from Friday's game is afraid to play with this weekend warrior! Second game going, I'm the guy you don't know, say hello if you're around. I was forced to play NL for 2.5 hrs, I feel so dirty MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino (Oxon Hill, MD); FAQ in OP

What makes you think vaping doesn't leave you among the Stinkies? My wife does both, neither in the house, and frankly I like the smell the cigs leave over what is left from vaping. Just like there are cigars with good and bad aromas, there are good and bad vape flavors.

Surprised to see yesterday that the bad beat resets at $2500. No idea what other BBJs reset at though, just seemed low at first glance.

Frustrating afternoon at 2-5. Played at a table right next to the front desk, had an empty seat for almost a half hour with a list. Finally they filled the (then) two empty seats we had - and then immediately called a new game with the 8 people that were left. So bizarre.

Definitely seem to be more cocktail servers around though, for a Tuesday afternoon especially.

JG, any chance of increasing the frequency of chip cleaning? The level of grime on them is pretty disgusting ...

Also, +1 on 9-handed 2/5. I previously said it wasn't needed but the action in most 2/5 games has already decreased quite a bit.

+1 to both. It's great when you get some new or newly cleaned chips, but then you really notice how bad the others are. This is a problem in pretty much every casino in the world though so it's expected.

And the action at 2/5 definitely has quieted down some. Maybe 9 handed during the week and 10 handed on weekends?

Any chance we can get more cashiers in the cage from 4pm-10pm? There are rarely 3 available -- mostly just 1 or 2 and a slow line during prime time. MDL has a cage half the size and it's almost always staffed with 3 people.

+1 I've been away for about a month and was very surprised on Monday at how quickly the chips have become nasty.

Looks like the bell was removed from the box area. Any plans to replace with something else?
