Strongly disagree. The room is going to be very busy this weekend and maybe until MGM opens. The SNG table ought to be used for a cash game

$250: $215 + $35 (25 house/10 staff) 16.3% rake/tip
$500: $450 + 50 (40/10) 11.1%
$1000: 920 + 80 (55/25) 8.7%

top 2 get paid but heard side deal before play starts where bubble boy gets his $ back.

also, if you win, is it customary to tip the dealer since part of the rake already pays his/her tip already?

congrats.
how long did the sng last?

since tip was included in the fee, is it customary to tip the dealer? (ive never played in a non-online tourny before)

Do you need to call in to play? Or can I just show up and get on a list?

You can just show up but you might be in for a long wait.

Best to call in (but no call ins for 1-3)

Little help?

I've been there twice and even with the precautions seems like a good place to catch the virus. Not worth the risk if you're worried about catching it.

5 out of 11 restaurants are open, there's a list on the website. Most of the bars I walked past are closed, but Cheesecake factory is open and it wasn't busy at all.

Do you get food comps for poker play?

I was told it's $1/hr but you have to convert it at a kiosk before using it for restaurants, some are 1:1 and some are 1:2.

$1 per hour for lowest tier card. Can be used anywhere in the casino just by swiping your card. There are a few local places not owned by the casino (Cheesecake factory, etc.) That you can convert comp $$ into a printed voucher that must be used within 24 hours.

Check out MD Live website. It does a good job listing how their rewards program works.

Adding 10 more tables upstairs next week. We'll start a modified tournament schedule July 14. No re-entries, 70 player max. Should be on the webpage and Bravo in a couple days

Thanks

Mike

Will the upstairs tables be used for cash games too?

Thanks for making the new rule that you have to keep your chips in one stack! It eliminates both angle shooters and innocent misunderstandings.

Weird, I was at a table today where one guy had his chips separated into two stacks. I was seated next to him so it didn’t make a difference for me but I can definitely see it as being a problem for other players.

A dealer right after he pushed in today asked a guy to put his stacks together, and his excuse was "the last 3 dealers didn't say anything about it". The floor was called, and he was told to put them together. Idk if they do pre shift here but hopefully all the dealers will eventually enforce it.

I heard that go down, I was on 6 right next to it. Even with my headphones on I heard the dealer yell “I don’t make the rules I just enforce them”.

Honestly tho, the old guy could have just obliged and it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Yeah, and it's a good rule. I hope the other rooms with dividers are doing the same. The guy argued for a good orbit or two, but when you're over 80 yrs old u geta lil extra slack (or I woulda been calling clock since he was still being dealt in while arguing for 20 min)
