now we need some for the dead corner where Table 2 is, *especially* if the main 1/3 game is always gonna be there. Personally i think Table 1 should be the main 1/3 table, the stacks would look really good for anyone wandering into the room

I noticed there's a 10/25 mixed game running tonight. Can anyone provide me with some details on this game? Like, what's in the mix, and does it run regularly (e.g. most Fridays)?

Thanks.

Great Job - to the two dealers I had on Saturday who pointed out that the first buy in is at the cage. Both quietly took crap from the players for enforcing that rule.

One player was a regular who had just switched tables to our table and claimed he was on his third buy in that day and should be able to buy chips at the table since this was not his "first" buy in. LOL!

I like $500 every 15min to avoid the tax forms plus more chance that my aaa22 holds.

Mike,
Here's a suggestion for the next promo:
$2000 every hr with Royal reset and everyone who gets on the board but doesn't win gets $100

I like the creative thinking of the $100 to people on the board, but it might not work smoothly. I'm thinking of the case where 2 tables (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) who both signal a new high hand - it will have to go to the video every time that happens to find out if there are 2 winners or 1. For example, did the AAA22 hand upstairs complete before the quads hand downstairs did? It wouldn't happen that often, but I'm guessing it would occur enough to be problematic.

I personally like the 2100/4 or 5. Mostly because I seem to specialize in making a 2nd best high hand.

Whatever distrubutes smaller amounts to more people is what I'd prefer. Instead of 1k high hands every 30, could do random seat draw for 500 and everyone else at table gets 100.

I really like the Tournament they are having this weekend.

It is so much better than the WSOP circuit event happening over at Baltimore.

It's in the flyer that's linked right in the page you quoted.

Dang I'd love to play in this, but, according to the flyer, day 2 is on April 12th. Turns out I've already done something else that day. If only I'd have known at the time!

Where is the best place to run through promo money now? It seems like every time I come the video poker machines have been moved. Today I only found a couple machines that had jacks or better and they had pretty bad payouts (6/5). Am I missing the better ones?

http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/maryland-live-casino

can't confirm those machines are still in the High Limit area though, have been playing those sparse JoB machines on the regular floor and cleared Streak at 1:1 exactly

At the bar by the stage.
there's a game called TapHouse poker that has 3play 8/6 JoB.
taphouse gimmick activates when you put in 5 additional coins on top of max bet.

if you don't, plays like regular 3play 8/6 JoB.

its the 4 left-most machines at the bar facing the stage

Great, thanks guys. I'll check both places next time. Only cleared $79/$145 today which is the lowest rate I've ever cleared at.

145? I cleared $100 of $125 for this last batch. Only 385 of 500 overall. Some horrible run bad on one bunch.

Yea I had $145 available. I think I had an extra $20 for answering a survey last month or something. This was by far the worst run I've had with free play though.

The sniveling that goes on at a 6/7 handed table to break is unreal. I mean, what's the inconvience? The reduced rake? The extra room? Seeing much more hph? Is this a thing at all live low stakes cash games around the country or just a Maryland thing?

All low stakes games I've ever played in and that's all around the country.

Could be worse - there are tables that will whine about being 8 handed.

Most live players aren't good and they're not used to shorthanded play. Shorthanded play doesn't favor nittery, so most live players want to play at full tables. I'm sure you'll find that situation to be common in your experience as well once you've played a bit live.

DDB gave me $200 for $125 this iteration.

Also, not much love for 1/3. I even agreed to play on a short handed game to help run it.
