Sorry didn't see your message earlier.

I would suggest calling in for 2/5 an hour before and checking in and add 1/2 at that time. You most probably will be on the top of the list for 2/5. At least you will have a game to play. Also, don't stand in the line behind 30/40 people use the kiosk outside for a faster signup.

If the promo starts at 2PM, there is no point in coming anytime after 2. I would get there at least by 11/Noon. I called in at 11:30 and reached there by 12:20 and I was 4th on the list.

Also, I have seen so many regulars who abused the system by sitting down at empty seats. They used their players cards as they didn't want to loose their comps while seated illegally. They were picked up after their 15 minutes of fame at the table.

is it broken, or did you turn off the 1/2 nl list in bravo on purpose?
if broken, eta on fix?

Mike, totally understand that cash takes priority over tournaments, but I hope going forward you won’t give short shrift to the tournament players.

I’m like a lot of people I imagine, equidistant between Live and MGM, and was planning on making the trip to Live to play on the Saturday 330 w/100 bounty tournament. I understand why you’re canceling it, but at the same time it’s disappointing to people that have made plans to play in it to have it cancelled at the last minute. I doubt I’m the only one that feels this way. Live does a better job than all local competitors in the quality, scheduling and execution on their tournaments IMHO. I hope it stays that way.

I understand and I think you know we don't generally do this. We discussed for quite and decided in the end, we didn't want to put out a bad product. And by that I mean 6 tourn. tables and a long alternate list. Thanks for your input and my apologies for the late notice

How long was the waiting list for 1-2 on average today? I can't seem to get the bravo app working on my phone. Anybody else having problems with the bravo app?

Bravo shows MDL still at full spread but with hardly any lists. 2 on the 1-2 wait list

Helping with the data collection, the room didn't fill today until almost 2. List is like 75 for 1-2 at 230, but you could have sat down almost instantly until 140 or so

One thing about a full room...

The current wifi is getting hammered to the point that Pandora has to buffer.

ive never seen PLO8 only PLO. i spent 2-3 weeks there close to 1 yr ago, and i had bad luck in this game due to not liking hi only. were it PLO8, id never left and wouldve won. but i never could win in it.

when the room first opened 3 years ago for the first 6-8 months PLO8 ran regularly: 2-2 most weeknights and all weekend and some weekends 5-5 ran as well, then it just kind of fizzled out and i haven't seen it run in at least a year and a half. every now and again i'll start an interest list if i'm there, but it just doesn't get any traction. like you i can't seem to wrap my head around PLO hi only, and i don't really like 5 card as much. i'd love to get PLO8 going again some time.

any updates on this? Was going to come there on Wednesday afternoon but not if there is a long wait list. I called ahead last week and ended up leaving after waiting over 2 hours for 2/5

Did you try before asking? Bravo was back up on Saturday. It looks like its up now - but if it's to be believed, only 5 tables are running.

That's some kind of record low for the room...

Bravo has been fine since Saturday evening afaik. The high hand promo drops from 10 minutes to 15 minutes today and the long waits had already diminished - Saturday evening it was about an hour, pretty much all day Sunday there was no significant wait. I can't imagine there'll be a much of a list this week.

Was there Sunday from 2-5pm and there were at most 44 tables running. No significant wait list. Couple of high hand windows went unclaimed! Didn't seem much busier than a regular Sunday

2/2 bigO8 runs every weekend and occasionally midweek.
