Chop at 11pm? WTH? Last time there was over 40 runners and we chopped last 4 before 10pm, I think it was decided to chop at like 930pm ish. How did the game go that much longer with less players. And apparently shorter levels.

And the one last month, IIRC was 30 minutes levels.

WPT main seats won in a satty are non-transferable (ridic I know) so dunno what would happen if you win more than one. Definitely ask.

Heads up. I parked in this spot today. Cops were writing me a $100 ticket when I came out. All the other handicap spots around there have the paint on the ground and this one has a small sign way above eye level. Seems like they're baiting people to park illegally.

And isn't there a No Parking sign above the handicap spot? So which is it - do the painted logos on the ground define what kind of spot that is? Is that a handicap spot or a no parking spot?

If I got a ticket I would sure as hell take it to someone and say sorry - but if those ceiling signs are the "ones that count" - then the guy next to me better damn well have gotten a ticket for parking in a No Parking spot.

Just another reason I park out by Longhorn. Still infuriating though.

I was going to ask the security guys about the no parking sign but didn't want to push it. Other than the fact that they let me go without a ticket they were being pretty douchey to me as they went on a little security guard power trip. The setup of some signs and some painted spots needs to be fixed though.

Yup I'd be willing to be that no parking sign is supposed to be over the crossed out space and the handicap spot is supposed to be over the...handicap spot.

Questionable...I had been parked in this spot for 10 hours. Ran super pure walking out when I did.

Here's another potential problem area in the garage, level 5 far side of middle elevators. They painted spots here but still have the no parking signs from when this area was a cut through lane. If they're ticketing based on ceiling signs (like the handicapped one) then this is probably not a good parking spot.

Did you talk to a security supervisor/manager about this issue? I think it warrants escalation because the ticket you almost got was really, really bad.

Surprised the random 16-entry 3K LHE event last month actually got put on Hendon Mob (it wasn't even originally on the HM schedule). Am I being petty that I want to be recognized for being chipleader (albeit small) rather than getting 2nd at the chop if it's going on our official records? Said I didn't care when I assumed it was just gonna be posted on a paper in the cardroom somewhere, but LHE tourney titles are rare and would like to be accurately recognized. #memories

I was sleep deprived so guess I pretty much got schooled on the whole end of tournament process (gave up chipleader equity with even chop too like a fish).

I went to ML tonight to try out the new sushi place - "8 at Luk Fu". I like "maki", which is the rolls. The prices don't seem too out of line with other sushi places, ranging from $8 to $16 per roll. I tried the tuna roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The tuna roll was tasty, but only 6 smallish pieces for $10 - I might skip that next time. The shrimp tempura at $9 was very good - it was 5 very large pieces and included lettuce, cucumber, and mango plus a sauce over top of it all. I'll definitely be getting that again.

The preparation was relatively quick. It was presented very well to make it look nice. There were very large clumps of ginger and wasabi. Overall, I'd recommend it. I'll definitely be going back soon.

I was wondering how the sushi place was. With this and the new mexican place, looks like there's finally some good options for not-expensive food. Should've been done a while ago, but at least they are trying.

Visited mexican place three times. Some fares were alright, but nothing to write home about. A guy sitting next to me had an even worse opinion.
