WPT MdL schedule posted. Gotta HORSE, PLO and 5-card PLO in addition to the usual. Guarantees on every event which is a step up this year I think.

So I guess enough people bitched about the stupid Streak payout spread across weeks? I'm gold (but was Platinum 2 years ago) and just got this slightly odd email:

GET YOUR LAST 4 PAYMENTS ALL AT ONCE!
WE ARE THANKFUL
THAT YOU ARE A 4TH YEAR GUEST

That's why we're offering you a way to get your last four payments of The Streak, a total of $100, all at once!

Combined payment must be picked up and used between 9:00AM, September 4 – 11:59PM, September 30. To opt in to this option please visit this page by 11:59PM, August 30.

It was running the other day. There was a 5/10 NL/PLO mix that was running for a while in the spring as well. What you are saying is totally untrue lol just check bravo on Wednesday.

electronic craps:
anyone know how much coin-in it is per point?

they used to have a sticker on the machines but since they updated to live dealers instead of bubble dice, those stickers are gone.

and the dealer that worked there was clueless about coin-in $ per point.

Anyone know?

And you have to take your entire stack table to table. It's fantastic.

They've changed the poker room food menu. It is now being run from somewhere on the 2nd floor of the poker room. This is an attempt to be able to deliver food quicker to the poker players. Initial reviews from others at my table were not positive (I took a break from playing and enjoyed a nice dinner at Luk Fu, so I had no complaints).

Two people at my table yesterday asked to talk to the Food & Beverage supervisor to complain. Both had ordered hot dogs and neither was happy with their order, although I think much of that was that the waitresses screwed up their order (one asked for ketchup on his dog and it wasn't there, and the other asked for ketchup on the side for her fries and it wasn't there). I think the waitresses were new. The F&B supervisor patiently listened to the complaints and took it as constructive criticism. I heard him say this is the first full weekend of the new kitchen area and he was going to share this feedback with the head chef.

Apparently there's a whole kitchen up on 2F. Maybe from a prior restaurant before the room took over? I wasn't around in the early days of MDL, so I'm not sure.

Had a guy next to me get a sushi roll from the menu. Took just as long as going to one of the restaurants and ended up just being a pre-packaged plastic container like you'd find at the grocery store.

The one downside I had is the smell. When they do cook something, you can smell it throughout the room (and we were on 1F), and it wasn't the good/tempting kind of smell.

wait.. for all these years, they had a full kitchen on the 2nd floor?!
but they built that building (1st + 2nd fl) just for poker.

what was the grand plan and why was it canceled?

Hi,

If I select the promo chips streak rather than free slot play, do I still need to match the promo chip with real money to bet?

For example, if I bet $25 in promo chip on blackjack - do I also need to bet $25 in real money chip? And if I win they give $50 and take the promo chip. Is that the way it works?

Haven't played blackjack in a while and curious to play again.

Thanks.

Unless they changed it back, you bet the 25 promo chip, if you win the pay you $25 and take the chip, if you lose you lose the chip

There was an announcement on Monday night about a 1/1 game with a $40 buy in (no more no less) designed for new players. Was that going to be on Sundays? Starting when?

That sounds exactly like the game Commerce Spreads. It is an "all-in" or "fold" fest.

The 2/5 format change to must move is literally awful. It's enough to make me not want to play there. Nine handed is amazing but must move is the worst thing ever.

Lol I really like how MDL does the must move. I think it's a good change. The way foxwoods or mohegan does must moves at 2/5 is way worse.

How dare they have a short handed table allowing you to play while waiting for a full game?!?! THE HORROR OF IT!

The must move is great and floor has done a great job so far keeping games full. Pleasantly surprised.
