Is this just for the $1k or is it the same basic structure for all of the events? Assume they are all 1 day events? If they start at 930am when do they usually wrap up? What kind of turnouts to they get? Sorry for all of the questions but I may be in SF for work next week. 6-Max looks fun.

They have:
1/1/2 NL (button puts in a $1)
3/5 NL
5/10 NL
and an occasional
10/10/20 NL

$2 drop for every hand dealt even if there's no flop.
and then $4 (I believe) after there's a flop.

They have bad beat jackpots for the Holdem games that start at $100k for quads beaten. (Both hole cards have to play.)

LC caters waaaaaaay too much to their regulars. It's kind of annoying, even with a 1k buy in they keep the same structure as their $350's. They only want their regs to win because most of them don't know how to adjust to deeper stack play
Completely disagree

I just started playing the 3-5 there. Anyone know who the dangerous/good regs are to watch out for?

Lucky chances 3/5 game is soft compared to their 10/20. The 1/1/2 is good once you've built up a stack. I just hate the blind structure on 1/1/2. 3/5 & 5/10 game are the better choices for me.

Anyone want to meet up @ LC? I am winning player in the 1/2 game. 30/hr over 250 hours or so. Just starting to break into the 3/5 game. I am there most weeknights. Just looking to talk to someone that is not the typical ****** there.

LCs is 5+1 post flop. Its a rip off with all the $60 stacks. Be sure to get on a a deeper table.

I've been playing for about 6 months, after moving from out of state....on average about once a week.

Not sure if that makes me a "reg".

What strategic changes does one make to their play in the NL 1/1/2 game with that $8 kill from any position? Is it advantageous to kill the pot? And how do you adjust to someone who constantly kills the pot?

How about a dedicated thread for the Lucky Chances casino in Colma, CA.

For starters- how many 2p2'ers go to LC, and how what games do you play?

I mainly play the 3-5, and occasionally take shots at good-looking 5-10 games.

How is the NL 3/5 compare with the 1/1/2 game?

be more cautious in the 3/5, its a much smaller playing field compared to 1/1/2, plus most of the 3/5 regs know each other and know when a rookie sits at their table, more money to be won, but definitely a much more tighter playing field

I don't think you need to make too many drastic adjustments. SPR is gonna be screwed so badly anyways with short stackers that decisions are usually automatic in kill pots if there was any kind of raise preflop.

As far as killing it yourself, it depends on the table. In an action game, always kill in the cutoff if you can take the variance. In a typical tight-ish game though I find killing it, more often than not, ends up with the table going into lockdown mode. I used to always kill in the cutoff but not so much recently.

Killing the pot and putting on straddles is like setting money on fire. Dont do it.
