I am saying from being a LDL as much as I have been there this monh 1/3 will not come close to hurting a 2/5.

I LOLed at the bingo comments, it actually made me think about it for a second...should we spread it? I helped my parents run a bingo hall growing up (anyone from around here remember the Lakeshore Club?).

My apologies to those that want us to spread 1/3, but we've decided not to. Strictly a business decision. We have other considerations other than just how much rake/revenue we generate.

How about Chinese Poker? We'll be adding it to our stable of games in the near future. Weekly weekday tournaments are also in the discussion.

you can add it to the mixed game rotation as far as im concerned. Played it for the first time in vegas a month ago and it was great...still not totally sure on how to play tho

I have a feeling Chinese poker is going to become popular as a game to switch to when the PLO game gets 3-4 handed and there is no gambling going on between the remaining players.

is there any skill at all to it? Just a matter of knowing the rules and what cards you are dealt right?

No skill at all. Just luck. Just learn the rules and you're good to go.

i guess that's sarcasm? I mean you are dealt one hand, you don't make any sort of bets against other players. No bluffing etc...where does the skill come in?

how much money is on the table for the 100/200plo game?

Not sarcasm. There is... well maybe not 'skill', but there is at least a correct strategy that will give you an advantage over someone who does not know correct strategy. I consider strategy == skill in this case.

Can't put an exact dollar amount on it, but it's a solid six figures. Big stack was over 200K.

Showed up last night at 9:00. Got my name on the list for 2/5, which was 53 people deep. List grew to a little over 60 and it didn't look like there was an end in sight so I went to the Isle, played a few hours, then went home and went to sleep. Got my text at 2:00 am that my table was ready lol. Hopefully they will expand soon.

This was my first time going on the weekend. Are list usually this deep for the weekends?

Unfortunately, yes for 2/5. Also depends on how many PLO games are spread. We had three Friday night so that was one less 2/5 table to spread.

Expansion talks have started, but it'll be several months before any decisions will be made.

I also went to LDL on Friday night at 11pm. Lists for 2/5 and 6/12 were long just like harper983 said. I think the lists for each were at least 40 deep - It wasn't even worth putting my name on there. Went saturday at 11am - 6/12 had 20 or so on the list... 2/5 nl had maybe 15.

I took a walk around the casino and I forgot how small it really is. Right now, I just don't see where the extra room could be made. But hey, I'm no designer.

count me as a "probably" for Wednesday, I'll be there unless unexpected work stuff comes up between now and Wed afternoon. I was planning on making it for 7, but could maybe get there a little earlier if there's a chance the game will get going before that. based on last week, any chance it will fill up and there will be a list?

is the rotation going to be HORS + Badugi + 2-7 Triple Draw? 6/12 with $1 ante for stud games?

Doubt the game will fill up before 7 or 8 if it does. That's the rotation we played last week.
