So, how many will boycott the room? Dont you think that there will be enough rail birds to fill the tables?

Isle jackpot will be 500K by July 1st. People are going broke chasing it.

Time rake is no good, but i dont think they will change.

We are giving one hour for call ins for everyone except Elite and Owner's Club cardholders. They get a little something extra. Hope to see you all there this weekend.

Lol, I got some great private games here on the weekend so I don't make the weekly trips anymore. Driving 15 miles for a game is so much better than 150 miles. Honestly though, I hate the isle. Everytime I've been there it's always left a bad taste in my mouth.

I agree, time rake would be better for all games 5/10+ and PLO though. I'd like to give Lauberge a try so hopefully this changes soon.

Change to the 2/5 rake is in discussion, it is a possibility.

Good games today...25/50PLO, 5/5PLO, 5/10NL...anyone there today with feedback for us? Let me know what we did right and where we can improve.

Also, mark me down as interested in your mixed and mid-limit games now that I'm in Lafayette.
Roger and I are going to see about getting a weekly 15/30 or 20/40 LHE and/or a 20/40 mixed game. If you want on the list, PM me with what you will play and what day of the week you are available other than Friday/Saturday. As I explained in an earlier post, we will not spread Stud/8 in the mixed game (yet), but we can do a 5-6 game mix. Once we get enough interest, we'll let everyone know when we will spread the games. Also keep an eye on these games on Twitter - @laubergepoker.

i played at ldc casino fri,sat and sun i like the room very nice set up. Nice chairs, but for 2-5 i think time rake is bad..your dealers are not profecient enough.now the dealers that came from the isle; they are all good dealers dont get me wrong...but i could def tell the newbie dealers and, i dont like the time rake with the inexperienced dealers///good luck with your room..

Action was off the charts. Great room. I played 2/5 and 6/12. There was more action on the 6/12 table on sunday than the 2/5. Won well over a thousand playing 6/12 in 2 sessions. What this room has that the isle doesnt have is location. The isle very rarely gets the recreational player. We had at least 2 on the table at all times on Friday. We had numerous players sit down wanting to "give poker a try".

I only have 2 complaints Kim. The dealers that didnt come from the isle are pretty weak. Numerous times they tried to give the pot to the person that didnt win, and it took them forever to count the chips in the bank when they sat down. But that is not the biggest complaint. It took FOREVER to get the seats filled when one came open on the 6/12 table. I know you guys said you were rolling the names, but it was not very efficient. There was a big list, but we played short handed most of the day Sunday. That being said, the room was awsome and the service was great. In paticular, Jason. He knows how to treat players and handle the game. I wouldnt mind seeing him move up.

I think you should follow the posting formats that @AriaPoker and @VenetianPoker uses when posting their cash games - pretty easy to read and it's right to the point.

Although the answer is yes, it was only technically a private game. We opened a couple of hours early with only one game, for a group and one person in particular. We had a list and filled the seats as people left.

Dealers will get better. We are also evaluating as we go and expecting progress. A majority of the "new" dealers have experience, but it's been 5-6 years for them. And there are a couple that are learning. We are going to give them a chance to get better, but like I said, there are expectations.

Jason is great. I will let him know he is getting compliments on 2+2.

The waiting list process is a bit different, but the main issue is that it was a two hour wait Friday and Saturday nights. We do not make PA announcements, so we utilize the texting/paging system in Bravo. People get tired of waiting, so they go eat, play slots or TG, etc. We have to give them at least a few minutes to get to their seat. It'll be a process we try to refine.

And thank you for the feedback. Wish we had more tables...

Thanks, I will check them out. I have never done Facebook or Twitter, so I'm learning...makes me feel old and out of touch.

I'm planning on making a quick trip tomorrow evening, have the games been running reliably after friday and saturday? Specifically the 6/12 game?

Sorry for the late reply, but yes. 6/12 with a half kill runs every day. 2/5 runs every day, and we've had 2/5/10 PLO as well. Check out our Twitter account @laubergepoker, we will try to post regularly what we have running.

lol, i was actually sitting in your 6/12 game when this was posted. I'll give a quick report on my impressions:

PROS: The game was good, but not great. But, it was a wednesday night, so i wouldn't draw any conclusions. From your tweets yesterday, it looked like you had a good crowd.

The chairs were great, the room was fantastic and there seemed to be a decent amount of walk-up traffic for the games.

CONS: I never got the text message that my seat was ready and only got it thanks to walking back by the room and seeing my name flashing. I felt kind of bad because as i was walking up, they were taking my name off and about to seat another player.

The table itself seemed kind of small, leading to some cramped quarters around the table. I'm not sure if this was because of the oversized railing or the table itself is actually small, but it was definitely noticeable.

I'm sure you guys will get the text message issue ironed out soon enough, and I totally enjoyed my time in the room and will be back.

Thanks for the feedback. Wednesday was kind of a slow day, generally action in the game has been pretty good up to this point.

Roger and I are working on the text messaging thing, to try and make the process smoother.

I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience, let us know if there's anything else we can do to make it better.

Kim
