StarberryBSD,

There are boxes available if you are a regular player. Have the Shift Manager verify with Rob that you play frequently or have them look up your play on your M life card and you should be able to get a box.

Hi Karina:

I assume you're aware that out annual 2+2 Party will be at the MGM in July. Hope you can make it.

Best wishes,
Mason

Yes, I am. Rob and I were just talking about that the other day. I will definitely be there!

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

Karina, I went by the poker room yesterday and tried to get a structure sheet for the HORSE tournament. The floor said they did not have any. Do you know if one exists? I am trying to compile a database and want to include it. If it is online somewhere, could you please link it? If not, could you let me know what the structure is including how the entry is broken down (i.e. $100 prize pool, $12 house, $8 dealer) so I can make one myself? It would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to compile a list of non holdem tournaments.

Hey Karina,

My "better half" and I will be at the MGM March 29th for a cocktail party 7pm and then off to Brad Garetts Comedy Club. We will stop by the poker room. Dont think you will be there but your worth taking a chance on seeing. Missed you at the Wynn Classic and hope all is well with you and your family.

Pokeraddict,

The HORSE structure is on the MGM Grand Poker Facebook page and here is a link to the structure:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...6Xz3LXiBQ/edit

The breakdown is $100 to prize pool and $20 admin.

Thanks.

We would love to spread this game. Please start an interest list when you come in, if there isn't one already. We have had a $1-$2 PLO game only twice in the past few months.

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

we tried to get one going last night... there seemed to be some interest. I happened to be knee deep in 2/5 so by the time the game was being spread, I didn't want to leave my table.

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

Was playing at the "temporary" location last night. Do we have an estimate on when we will be back in the normal location?

Thanks!

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

I have been told the renovations could take up to 3 months. The poker room will also see some benefits of the renovation but I will keep you updated if it takes longer.

Thanks,
Karina

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

Was in Vegas last week and played at MGM. I really like the MGM room and think the dealers do a great job keeping the game moving. Next time I'm in town I'm going to try and grab the poker room rate!

If it is my girlfriend and I, do we both have to play 4 hours to get the rate or just 4 hours total per day?

Re: Karina's Korner-MGM Grand Poker Room

I was in town at MGM this Easter weekend playing in the temporary room and I actually preferred it to the previous location. I found it to be quieter and not as distracting. But, yet the atmosphere was not morgue like, as in Caesars. The temp room sort of reminded me of the off to the side location of the room at the Venation...well minus the fancy chandeliers and pillars. Staff and dealers were very good with lots of tables going all weekend.
