so like, say its 8way, and 4 ppl are walking. usually it kinda escalates, like 2 guys go to dinner, then 2 more are like well i dont want to play 6 way. so now theres 4 playing and maybe another walks bc eff playing 4way with a rape job rake. now the game breaks. make it free.

I agree but I was just stating that this is the norm here. I only played a time game 1 time there and we were allowed free rake for the half hour.

response to heavy

Last week I played 20 hours of $1/$2 PLO and I earned 340 tier credits and 2000 rewards credits, which equates to $20 in comps. so regardless of what the poker room staff tells you we are earning $1 per hour even though I heard them tell people it was 25 cents per hour.

my acct is so wrong.....send them an email today.....so far got 6 points for 12 hours....its a mess....parking promotion has worked 1 out of 4 with out seeing someone.....

their are tons of problem.....very smart of them to beg for patience publicly as it is needed.....

smoking is a joke.....food is a dumb policy.....chip add on a joke....comunication from dealer to floor stinks.....open seats take too much time to fill.....too much walkers...

nice room but rake is too high when adding bad beat pull and tip....

I never understood the appeal of eating at the table and always thought it was gross/annoying when somebody else did it. So I applaud the rule.

It slows down the games, gets grease on the cards/chips, and is nasty to watch some Reg munch away at the table. If you want to eat, get out of your chair and walk to the food court or buffet.
Eat non-hand foods like salads, pastas, soups, etc. Eat between hands, particularly in slower games like PLO. Not that hard. Not saying everyone respects this, but that doesn't mean it should be banned for those that do. I've never eaten finger food while playing, and I've never slowed the game down, either. Not hard to fit in a single bite if you're not in the hand.

Also, isn't food allowed at any game, not just higher limits? You just can't order food to the table, but you can bring it yourself to any game, no?

Also, I still hate that no food is available anywhere after midnight, even on weekends- midnight isn't even that late.

Nice, didn't know this (couldn't be there Friday)

Speaking of which, once the dealers get better, 2/5plo should be timed rake.

Has anyone here tried self-parking in the casino, leaving and come back later in the same day and still get the free parking voucher? I couldn't get one because I already did in the past 24 hours, fortunately the manager Ann helped me out. Dunno what I'm supposed to do about this if I plan on doing it regularly though.

Also, I've been reading former posts- people say you can't get food from 2am-7am? Where can you get food from 12am-2am? I tried going to the food court at 12:20am Saturday night and it was closed... (either way, I wish there was something open 24/7)

Yes this is a problem. I have brought it up to Jeremy several times and he says he will check into but never get and answer. I payed once bc of this and the attendent told me on the way out not to pay next time.

As long as you have played enough you can go to the TR desk and get another voucher.

I played yesterday until 6:00 PM. Played today until 2:30 PM...couldn't get an automatic parking voucher. I asked an employee that was directing traffic at the TR line for a manager about parking validation. She tracked someone down within a minute and she gave me a pink complimentary parking ticket. I explained my situation and she also said they're aware of it and working on a solution.

I've been reading this thread and haven't made it to the casino yet but was just curious what the parking rate is without a voucher?

They've had a 5/10 run everyday so far. 5/10 plo ran and a 10/25 plo ran the other night.

Yeah, just tell somebody and they will boost you to the front of the line to talk to the supervisor.

The grab happened right behind me, the whole situation was awesome.

Have seen many folks at other casino's order stuff like nacho's. Ha ha, live poker a freak'in nacho's......you've got to be kidding me.

I always bring my own food. Protein bars usually, neat and clean.

In response to the parking, if you're going to be back the next day, you can ask for a receipt when you leave the self-park and that validates your parking for 24 hours.

The shallow trays are probably in response to 98% being new dealers and them having 2-5K in the tray would be overwhelming and a trust issue. I would imagine it will change over time. The best way to deal with this is buy black chips for $2/$5 and higher and green chips for $1/$2 and put them in your pocket to save so much time with the rebuys. I always buy extra just for the sake of the game.

fairly happy with the room. #1 complaint though is they are horrible at filling seats. someone should talk to jeremy about this. been multiple times there at the 2/5 games where we have an open seat or two for a really long time (like a half hour plus and no names are called - its also possible texting people when they get a seat also slows down the process because then they give the person way to much time to come get their seat or they forget to call the next name).

the #1 issue with giving people a long time to take their seat is that in most casinos its almost 50/50 whether someone is actually going to take a seat. i.e. you might put yourself on a plo list and stick to NL etc etc.

A little parking tip for everyone. Don't pull in the self park that everyone else does. Go into the Valet, pull through to the back self park entrance. There are so many spots always open even at peak hours. Easy in easy out, and no traffic hassle at all.

The filling of seats will get better as the brush' get better. Give it a month and they'll (hopefully) burn through the list to fill the seats.

Jake is temporary if were talking about the tall skinny kid.
