I don't ever recall seeing it running that late, so would assume it is over by 7 or 8 PM.

Someone that plays them would have a better grasp though.
Just as an FYI there were 95 people in the tourney Saturday and they were at the final table around 4:00 PM.

I assume you are only talking about limit holdem and I don't recall anything over 3/6 ever running. There may have been a point during a tournament series that something popped up, but nothing has ever run routinely. That being said if you get a group and have enough names on an interest list they will more than likely run the game.

As for other limit games, they used to run 6/12 O/8, but that hasn't run for a while and the game moved to a card room in Dayton I believe.

That is surprising. I can't remember the last time I was in the room during normal hours and they haven't had at least 1 table running.

JACK Cincinnati Fall Classic
Never seen a tournament that has a payout for bagging multiple day ones. Interesting.

I am considering playing event #1 in the JACK Fall Classic and I have never played a tournament at JACK. When does registration open for the Fall Classic? Also where do they play tournament series at? Is it in the poker room?

I would like to know too. I am hoping it is in the conference room upstairs. I remember the WSOPC tourney there when it was horseshoe.

Not sure when registration is open, but all tournament series since the first WSOPC have been held in the poker room.

Make sure you get there early to reg, usually there are 30+ people waiting in line to reg and only one cashier behind the cage who is doing tourney registration and also on chip duty.

Hey guys, how is the cash games NL Hold'em at Jack's been lately. Plan on playing there Friday & haven't been in a while. I'm a 1/2 2/5 player, mostly be wanting to play 2/5 if its running. I'm assuming on a Friday night there should be 2/5 and plenty of games running right.

Usually there are pushing 20 tables on most Fridays, with that being be a few 2/5 games, around ten 1/2 games, and a few PLO games running if you play that.

I would be surprised if less than 3 2/5 tables are running. You wont have a problem there.

Correct. The 6/12 limit omaha hi/lo game is now played on Wednesdays (7 pm) and Fridays (1st table opens by 3 pm, 2nd table around 7-8 pm) at The Ruggles Club in Dayton. $25 fee to play as much rake free poker as you want (1-2 NL or other games too) until 3:30 am, possibly later if it gets extended.

The Cincinnati 6/12 LO8 game moved up to Dayton after a disagreement with the floor about the rake. JACK has really gone downhill since the Horseshoe days, imo

Posting late, but thanks for the info guys. The 2/5 games running were very profitable. Will be back on Halloween, hopefully win some of the monster cash giveaway

Played there a few times in the last week. No cage open til 630 7pm now. What a clusterf*!#!. Dealer ran out of white on multiple occasions so they didn't take rake until it got to five and they could drop a red chip. As well as a few players having to go to the main cage after they busted...took them 15 minutes to get chips so they missed their blinds. You'd think that with the rake they are losing that they could pay some cage people. Guess I'll continue to drive to Columbus for much better promos and customer service.

who in their right mind would complain about saving money on the rake?

When the dealer has no white and has to make change with players multiple times it slows the game down to a crawl. Which means when you don't play many hands (nit) this means you play even less hands per hour. I guess it's a win with no rake but it is irritating none the less.

FYI: I just had $500 stolen from me from the table here. I have played there for a few years and would never have imagined it happening, but it happened.

Security actually found the guy, he said he didn't do it. They didn't stop him from leaving because they regard it as me "abandoning" the chips when I went to have a smoke.

I'm not kidding here. Pretty ****ed up. If you leave the table, you have "abandoned" your chip stack and you're ****ed. They have, according to them, footage of the dude taking the chips. They, according to them, talked to the guy.

I immediately reported this to security, got John (the tall guy) to tell me I was ****ed.

Seriously, it's pretty whacked. Dude walked off with $500, they had him on camera doing it, but I supposedly "abandoned" my chips after 5 minutes of having a smoke.
