To the "Ruler of the East"

Can we start putting up an interest list for a deep stack 1/2 Pineapple game (so people see it on Bravo) and have the brush stand promote it over the intercom? "If you build it, they will come"

Same question for a 5/10 with $300 max like they have at the Kennel Club.

There are quite a few Isle regs that I see at the Kennel Club playing in that game on a pretty regular basis. Kennel Club runs that game non stop. Its always running.

We would be more than happy to start the 5-10 with $300 max. We had a player that tried starting it about a month or two ago but it didn't get much attention. I will work on getting the Deep Stack 1/2 P game on Bravo.

I think if you are going to start a new game that people arent used to, it needs to be promoted by the brush. They need to call out the game now and then to get people interested.

It also needs to be on Bravo correctly. I was there one day and there was a game listed that said it was $5/$10 with a $100 max. I doubt anyone would want to play that and besides when they look on Bravo all they are going to see is 5/10 and scroll right by it.

If it was specifically listed as Short Stack 5/10 or something like that that stood out, it might get more interest. My guess is that once it runs a few times it will pick up steam. Like I said it runs every single day all day at PBKC and I see Isle regs playing in it.

Saw 100/200 MIX on the Bravo app. Highest game I've ever seen at the Isle.

Ive seen them play that every now and then. Still no deep stack 1/2 Pineapple or short stack 5/10 though.

As of 11:20am, there is nothing showing on Bravo. I think you have to put one person (even if its a made up person) on the list for it to show up on Bravo. More people will come and play if they see it on Bravo.

Can we please get 2-5 or 1-2-5 PLO running here? Lots of PLO action at Hardrock but nothing here aside from the occasional 10-10 game. I try and get it running every time I go but it very rarely starts. If anyone wants to start a game on the weekends, let me know.

Even a regular 1/2 PLO would be nice. If people start playing PLO here, it will lead to bigger games.

None of these new games that people aren't used to being spread here will ever really take off unless they are advertised by the brush stand regularly. Most people walk in and get on the list for their regular game and dont even look to see what else is running.

I agree with you. A lot of people who know how to play will play if they hear it being announced. Even a 1-2 game with a $5 bring in will play bigger than a 2-5NL game.

I'll talk to them next time and see if they will start advertising it. I don't see how they can have Hard rock running 5-6 tables and they have zero. Surely a lot of business is going elsewhere if they have no option for any game other than Holdem.

Ruler of the East, it is shameful that your Saturday night weekly mtt has 41% rake. Completely taking advantage of your players that don't know any better.

1/2 PLO is huge variance.

Has PLO been running? I'll head down tomorrow if it is. Haven't checked Bravo in a few days but I see a 2/5 PLO game running right now.

They had a 1/2 PLO game on Sunday evening. It was on the list all day long but didnt get running until sometime after I left at 5:00.

Lots of money in PLO. Not many books written on the subject. I know one pro who plays it for a living. At times he won't play a hand for hours, then hit the monster.

Any word on when the Florida State Poker Championship schedule will be up?

Posting here to promote a $10/$20 mix that runs 2 or 3 times per week. It's usually HORE+Badugi or HORSE+Badugi. The rake is 5% $4 max with a standard $2 jackpot drop in the non low-ball variants.

What day(s) and time(s)? And is it currently going, or something you are trying to start? The only 10/20 game I know about at isle is the o8. If it's currently in action, then i'm in. If it's not, put me on an interest list.

Has any PLO been running?

PLO is pretty rare here but its actually starting to pick up stream. In the past week Ive seen a 2/5 PLO 3 times and a 5/10 PLO this weekend.

Might head over for some 2-5 or 5-5 PLO tomorrow if anyone wants to try and get a game going.
