How long do the nightly tournaments generally run for? Coming next Thursday and considering playing the $70 nightly (assuming the schedule stays the same after the new casino opens)

Looks like the poker room is now open. 9 tables, 5 handed.

I think it’s been sold to the Sam people who own the Cherokee North Carolina casino

Any games running here currently? Website seems to say 5 handed is. Are there actually any games?

May come down for Derby weekend. Would require getting a hotel in Jeffersonville/New Albany/Louisville, which would require transit to/from hotel. Is this going to be feasible through ride sharing or any other options?

Visited for the first time in years this weekend. Action in 1-2 NL seemed good. Didn't get to take a stab at other games.

Food is absolutely horrible at the moment and the one non-snack bar people said was open and decent seemed to be closed when I looked. Probably just not looking the right place? Hope that improves as post-COVID opening continues (and we fade the Delta Variant). For now I'll be going an equal distance to Cincinnati; I can't play all day without reasonable food. The location is still an island that feels far away from Louisville or even New Albany.

I see they have a 30/60 stud game on Fridays, the only mid-limit game I know of for 100s of miles. Anyone know anything about that?

Played 2/5 today. Got three tables running at one point, all 8 handed. Games were easy. First time in the room and I’ll be back this year.

I was on the must must move from 8-12 and then the must move 12-1 Saturday night. Wonder if we got into any hands against each other.

Played 2/5 there around Christmas for the first time in a few years, and I think it's the softest 2/5 game I've ever seen! I like the new room, but miss the vibe of being on the boat.

I was on the must move from 4:30 to 10 or so, then another hour or so at main table, must’ve missed you. It was a great game, incredibly passive for the most part.

Back in the mid-late 90s before there was any other Indiana Casino Poker Rooms or Charity Poker this was the place to play! I loved the large room in the lower level of the boat. Fond memories of long forgotten Midwest Regional Poker Championships & the Denny Crum Invitationals. Every table including the whole bottom floor beyond packed with people...

Yesterday when I looked at Bravo mid afternoon I was so pleasantly surprised to see double digit tables going on a Monday with a real nice $1000 Hourly High Hand promo going as well!! We have not been down in a few years but if you can keep it up Ceasers Southern Indiana we will come back with friends & check you out again!

I've noticed some long waiting lists the last few days at Caesars Southern near Louisville. Any idea why? Usually on a Wednesday there wouldn't be a long list. I looked at the WSOP schedule Horseshoe Southern Indiana (Elizabeth, IN) and I don't think that is going on.

I am debating between playing here or Moneymaker this weekend. Horseshoe Southern Indiana (Elizabeth, IN)

On a tangential note: the food court and cash out lines at this place are ridiculous. How they can't manage more than 2 restaurants and 3 tellers to process cash outs boggles the mind.
