Re: Horseshoe Southern Indiana (Elizabeth, IN)
So is anybody going to play in the Horseshoe Classic. I was supposed to be in Vegas right now but since that fell through I will probably play a bunch of these. Need a break from mind numbing 1-2. Taking last longer bets if anyone is interested.

Not sure why, but I am pretty confused on the 200+30+20. Does this mean in an event marked with a buy-in of $230 that $200 goes to prize pool, $30 to casino, and $20 to dealers or do dealers also get a cut of the $200 prize pool money too?

I'm not going to be able to make any of these events, but looks like the Denny Crum is coming up in a month or two and I will probably be down for a last longer in some of those.
Side note: Just read that 25% of the prize pool in the Crum is going to his foundation does that mean that a tourney in the Crum is only 75% as large as one w/ same buy-in and entrants in the horseshoe poker classic?

Can someone post the Horseshoe Classic schedule? For some reason I can't get the horseshoe site on my phone. Thanks in advance.

I'm still looking for someone to provide the turnout. These aren't on Pokerpager or Hedon Mob.

70 runners in the "50 and over." This was at noon on Monday. They had six or seven tables for the noon event yesterday.

Have searched several times for results of the Midwest Regional C'shp held in April without success. Apparently, they do not post results at HSI. That said, any guesstimates on the field for the main on Saturday?

Pretty sure they had over 100 for the last 750 ME. I would say about 100 for this one.

Yes, there were 146, paid 14. 100ish sounds reasonable, but don't have any idea how the satties have been drawing.

Re: Horseshoe Southern Indiana (Elizabeth, IN)
I have not stayed at HSI since it has changed over from Caesars...I was comped two free nights, but just wondering about the hotel.. I have read a few negative things about it, but curious if anyone has been recently and could offer their thoughts.. Im going to be down for some of the Denny Crum Poker Open, so wont be in the room that much I dont imagine, but I dont want to stay in a rathole free or not.
