Hopefully you get some response. I did hear 2-3 of the 5-10 players talking about mixed games and it was running yesterday (no 5-10 at the time) when I looked at Bravo. One player in particular had been out to WSOP and played in at least one of the mixed game tournaments out there. GL

Usually determined by whoever starts the game. I understand it's usually the HORSE games plus some triple draw games like 2-7, badacey, badugi, etc.

On Sunday they played badeucey, badacy, 2-7 and A-5 Triple draw, badugi (yes 5 triple draws which suits me perfectly), razzdugi, O8, S8, stud hi. All limit. Then PL Big-O with a thousand cap.

So the straight Omaha high limit is out since last time I played there.

If you want to sit with that in the mix, just be part of the first seating and ask it be included.

What is the skill level like in the badugi games? It seems like those would be hard to practice at lower stakes.

So, here is what drives me crazy about this poker room, and I am very far from a picky person.

Why can't the food runners get food from all eateries in the place? I can only have fried rice as dinner so many times. Just put a little forethought into it and put together a system where they can call in an order to anywhere. I am willing to pay the extra tip.

This place has been so dead and the 1/2 games have been so nifty since the WSOP started. Only good games are Friday and Saturday nights. Big pairs getting limped half the time, open raises no bigger than six at a lot of tables. Think I'll try Patowatomi next week.

I went on a Thursday trying to play 30/60 mix and ended up playing 4 hours of 1/2 NLH because mix didn't run. 4 hours and +3BI later, I left. So the potential for REALLY good games is there.

Does any mix lower than 30/60 ever run (at the Horseshoe or anywhere else in the Chicagoland area)? Would love to find a 4/8 - 12/24 game but haven't seen anything anywhere.
