Crazy.

If you play exclusively poker, how many hrs do you have to play in order to get to Diamond or Platinum?

I tried to find the conversion for poker hours on TR's website with no luck.

17 points/hour for poker.

Gold = 0 points
Platinum = 5,000 points
Diamond = 15,000 points
Seven Stars = 150,000 points

Gold = 0 poker hours
Platinum = 295 poker hours
Diamond = 883 poker hours
Seven Stars = 8824 poker hours

Gold = 0 poker days
Platinum = 12.3 poker days
Diamond = 36.8 poker days
Seven Stars = 367.7 poker days

I'll probably log around anywhere between 10 - 20 hours/week at 1/3 NL (no table games or slots) so of course its very doubtful I'll be able to achieve Diamond status anytime soon. So I guess this question would be geared towards those of you who are Gold and Platinum members.

Appreciate your time and feedback - Thanks.
I'm Diamond (I don't just play poker and have been known to degen pretty hard at video poker which is probably how I got there, not proud of it, anyway....) I get sweet Vegas deals all the time. I mean it's not like I can just go whenever I want, but if I pay attention to the mailers and offers at the TR website, I can usually put together something pretty good. I'm going to Vegas in November for 10 days, 5 days free at the Flamingo, then 2 days I'll have to pay for, then 3 days free at the LINQ. Although I go to Vegas about twice a year and earn a lot of points there too, not just in Hammond, so maybe that has something to do with getting Vegas deals too.

Capping the potential WSOPC promo or making it a "most hours" competition defeats the purpose IMO. The goal of a promo is to bring new people into the room or to increase the cash generated from current customers.

I feel like putting in a cap or making it a race will just reward the existing regs who will play the hours or near the amount of hours regardless (which I'm sure some of you guys are fine with) while it's gonna exclude the people like me who make 1-2 sessions a month but would increase to 8-12 for this opportunity.

If you are going to cap it, you'd almost better by making it like a lottery where if you play 40 hours you get an entry and x amount of seats are awarded.

Is Labor Day Weekend (Friday especially) stronger than usual with the holiday or weaker due to people traveling etc.? Of course people can travel both to and away from Chicago, but thought I'd ask those who've been through some Labor Day Weekends here how the action compares to other weekends.

Hi everyone, I plan to go play at the Horseshoe on Saturday night. Do those 2p2'ers on here sometimes meet up? It would be great to meet some of those that play regularly here. If interested please pm me.

Thanks!

Has anybody heard when the WSOP circuit schedule for Hammond will be coming out? I know the dates are 10/16-27, but want to figure out what events to play.

Heh - was planning on doing the 60h but I'm out of town during WSOPC date range.

Running badly with the whole schedule thing. Won a seat to a $500 MTT via random high card at the room a few years ago. Was out of town the date of that MTT so they redrew.

Any update? I tried to find the poker room on Facebook but failed. Seems like they should be having some answers pretty soon. I wonder if they decide NOT to do the 60hours promo, if they'll do the free seat giveaway that thy normally do...

0? At least for diamond, they don't take your card.

"Still waiting on Final Approval - If approved, Promo may have to begin sometime after the 1st"

Got this message a few hours ago not looking very promising.

With how long approval takes for the wsopce and cpc schedule takes. I don't expect this to get approved in a timely manner.

Bad beat jackpot cancelled for September....see the sign as you're entering the room on the right of the front desk...
Wonder if this has anything to do with the 60hour promo

So are they going to stop taking a $1 promo drop out of all pots? Kinda unfair to all the random ppl who will never hit 60hrs. Kinda silly if they dont even have the 60hr promo in place yet.

They'll probably still take the drop

I figured that was where the $ for the seats would come from.

What happened to all the PLO action above 1/2? Used to see the regular 5/10 and sometimes 10/20 on MWF.

Does anyone have a confirmation that the play 60 hours in September and receive a seat in the WSOPC main event seat promotion still exists?

Floor told me yesterday it may be moved up to 80 hours. Also I heard top 60 players in a month or something like that.

You could actually read the forum, but since that's probably to hard here's the cliff's:

Horeshoe FB page posted a promo for Sept "play 60 hours and get a free entry to WSOPC main event." $1,600 value, nice. Then there was a huge buzz, which caused the FB post to be removed. Now they are waiting for approval.
