Sorry one more question. Can players go on their phone at the table as long as their hand is folded? Cash/Tournaments

Yes, as long as they are out of the hand. We also have free wifi!

Do you still get that 10/20 LHE up? I keep checking Bravo but I think I've only seen it running once in the last month...

There's usually an interest list going. If someone starts the interest list, eventually people will sign on and then we can get it running.

Hi guys I'm new to the forum here and I've never played at the Horseshoe (or live casino poker at all for that matter)...got a few questions. (some newb questions..)

1. Do you need your total rewards card to play in the daily tournaments? What about the cash games?

2. Is there generally a long wait to get in a cash game (1-3 NL)? If so what would be the best time to arrive?

3. Do you buy chips from the dealer at the table or get them at the desk and bring em ahead of time?

4. Is food/drink allowed / served at the table? Bottled water available?

5. Can you just get up and go to the bathroom? Leave your chips there? How's that work...

Thanks...I'm looking forward to playing here soon..

1. Total Rewards cards are required to play in our tournaments. They are not required to play in cash games, but if you dont have a card you wont be able to receive comps, so I would encourage you to use it in the cash games.

2. We do our best to keep the wait time down. As long as we have enough players on the list we will start a game. You can call an put your name on the list up to 1 hour before you arrive!

3. You can buy chips from the table or the cashier cage.

4. Drink and table side food service is offered by the servers.

5. Anytime you need to get up to take a break, is ok, as long as you are not gone for more than an hour.

Hope to see you here soon.

The higher limit games 2/5 and higher seemed good the first weekend, but after that it was all the grinders from all over the place and your playing some of the better players around. As for 1/3 I'm not quite sure, I wish I would of played more of it.

Also you can be gone for 3 buttons and then you get 15 minutes after the third is placed. You get a button for each dealer gone, a down is 30 mins, so really you can be gone for 145 and there over lienient with taking people off the game that are awol.

The longest a player can be away from the table is 1:15, if you time it right.

anyone know if they are giving any seats away to any of the wsopc events in April? Just curious about potential field sizes. Thanks!

I might be spending some time in the area soon. How often does a $2/5 game run?

They've been running satellites. Last year's event #1 pulled in 355 people for about $103k and about $24k going to 1st.

Come say hi to me if you're going to make it! I'll be doing some press work there for the World Herald News Service. I'll be dragging around a big camera, won't be hard to miss me.

I'm also going to play a few of the $135 7 p.m. tourneys. I don't have any time to play in any ring events.

No poker rates, at this time. But if you book with your Total Rewards number you should be able to get a discounted rate.

Whats the deal with the 100$ omaha h/l mtt that seems to be on the first Monday of the month?

Rant: I hate how they have so little info on poker. The increase, I can only assume, of ppl for poker since BF would make one think different.

The first Monday of every month we hold a $100 O/8 tournament at 7pm.

Out of the $100, $80 goes to the prize pool, $15 to the house and $5 to the dealers.

TY, so you work there?

If you don't mind, what's the average payouts.

Also they should have a Friday 2 p.m. $20 r/a-o, unlimited. Just my 2 cents.

In the winter and spring we were getting between 40-50 players. In the summer its been around 30. First is usually between $1200-1500, obviously depending on the field size.

How do those $45 tournaments on Sunday's work? How many people usually sign up and what's the payout? I've been wanting to try them, but I can't find any information about it on their website.
