We have a few Poker rule changes that we just approved by IRGC and will go into effect July 10. Please do the best you can to communicate these to our guests.

1. The Omaha/8 Bad Beat will include 10-20. To make this possible, the current Omaha Bad Beat will combine the primary, secondary, and tertiary into one jackpot and will be available to 4-8 and 6-12 ONLY. We will see the new Omaha Bad Beat with $500 in the primary and $500 in the secondary. This new Bad Beat will include ALL limit Omaha games. In addition, Omaha players will win $500 for all Steel Wheels!
2. The 75% rule is going away for 1-3 NL. We will still have the increased buy in for 2-5 NL and above.
3. The 3-6 rake schedule will be changed to the same as the NL, $5 MAX, $1-$10,$1-$15,$1-$25,$1-$35,$1-$40.
4. Aces Cracked is back! Starting at 2am the first (2) players in hold’em to have Aces Cracked will win $100 each.

Why is the 75% rule for $1/$3 going away?

Based on player feedback. The buy in is still $300, which is good for our smallest NL game. If players want to buy in for more, we offer 2-5 NL.

Last the $1K HPC had 130 players.

The $775 was the HHPC held in December.

$200 omaha8 on a Sunday?? Was thinking Friday would be a better day since PLO/PLO8 players from the cash game would play imo.

Friday was an option. Sunday won for a couple of reasons.

1. I wanted an extra satellite to the main.
2. We run a 10-20 O/8 game every Friday, so running a o/8 tournament could effect the tournament and the cash game.
3. Most of our players work, so holding the tournament on Sunday will allow for more players to play.

You get 4 cards but have to play 2 and the split the pot for the best high and the best low. I don't understand it at all but I've heard A2 is good.

How many people do you get in average for the Saturday deep stack and what is the payout structure. Here for work and thinking
About driving down I'm about 2 hours away so just want to make sure it's worth it.

70+ players, the payscale is similiar to the WSOP Circuit, about 10%.

Went and played this weekend. The structure was good and I really enjoyed it. The best cards I got was a-10 suites so needless to say I was able to do some work but busted after 3 hours. Will probably play again in a couple weeks

Andy,

Do any LHE games bigger than 3/6 ever run? I'm thinking 4/8 or 6/12.

What is the Omaha (game, not the city) action like now? What limits?
