Wait until someone has quad Aces beat and they whine about getting "only" $7000 "unlike other places".

Can't please everybody.

Its been a long road from MD Question 7 to the Horseshoe opening. Quite a landmark.

I am really excited to get up there soon to check it out.

I like the bad beat rules too. Too many rooms have once in a lifetime payouts that make paying the jackpot feel pointless. A bit more payoffs happening at smaller amounts will make things really fun.

Doubling and tripling at huge jackpot levels is also cool since you will see $30,000 payouts.

If anyone says boohoo to $21K I would be surprised.

I'm thinking of going to the poker room after lunch. Is anyone up there now and are there lines to get into the casino. Looked like a madhouse getting in last night from TV news reports.

According to Bravo, 4 Tables running, 7 players waiting for various games. Not a mad rush for 10:30 AM on a Wednesday morning. It's early. Let's see at 2.

As a comparison Maryland Live! has 9 tables running and 25 on waitlists.

Brief appearance this morning. Shoe and a half of BJ. Checked out poker room. Four tables in play @ 11am. Have never played live poker and online cash games drain my BR. As a low level online mtt specialist, looking forward to the tournaments. Will take a shot at 1/3 when BR permits. See you soon.

I will probably head up here Friday morning and play all day. Probably will end up sticking to Live! as my main room, but I wanna check the room out and see what the casino is all about only being a couple minutes down the road. Plus it might be my place to satellite into the series one year!

Any options as far as deposit boxes? I'm a cyclist and my route to the casino takes me through some dodgy neighborhoods.

Not necessarily. O's games notwithstanding, Baltimore tends to be pretty quiet Labor Day weekend. Last beach weekend of the year.

Ohio State vs. Navy football game at Ravens stadium at noon on Saturday. $50 to park at Horseshoe. Maybe they eliminate the parking fee after the game, but the website doesn't say that is the case.
