I got tired of playing against the nut peddling nits at Maryland Live so I played here for the first time last night and I absolutely loved it.

Sure the crowd may be a little rough, but the action is well worth it. I will definitely be coming back.

So if I'm understanding this correctly;

Sat, Sun, Mon earns entries for the Tuesday drawing.
Wed, Thurs, Fri earns entries for the Saturday drawing.
And Tuesday doesn't earn entries (but has a drawing).

Is this correct?

For the 15 minutes the undercooked wings last, it's a frenzy like they've never seen anything free in their lives. You'd think they were giving away cars.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore last month registered its lowest level of revenues – $20.2 million – since it opened 2½ years ago.

MGM opening is actually having an effect on Horseshoe?
(Jan is the 1st full month of MGM opening.)

It's hurting MDL a lot more but definitely cutting into HSB to a smaller extent. I for one have been playing MGM much more than HSB where I used to play a lot and I see plenty of other players I recognize from HSB at MGM all the time. Clearly people who live in Baltimore and north will continue to favor HSB for proximity. But those of us who live in the area between Baltimore and DC now have a choice with travel time to either casino being not much different.

As a cash game player at the Horseshoe, I'm glad there are no guarantees on the circuit events. In the past, overlays were covered out of the promo fund that tournament players were not paying into. I'm glad to see that money being used a little differently now that Vic is in charge.

What changes, if any, has vic made to cash games?

FYI. There is a new self serve beverage station. A little bit of a walk from the poker room though. It's near the bathrooms next to the Asian noodle place.

Ruby 8 was expensive. The new place, which has a new name but pretty much the same menu, is more expensive. Also closed Mon and Tues, and opens at 5p other days. I pretty much stopped getting food from there. Piezzetta is still great for my take home food. I'll probably eat at the bar in the steakhouse for more upscale food, which would be the same price as asian.

im getting notifications again for the monthly Diamond gift.
no idea how this happened or why it stopped in the 1st place.

april is a set of 4 champagne flutes or 4000 rewards credits.

4k rc is a new alternative.
they used to give $25 free play.

4k /175 conversion rate for Diamonds = $23 freeplay, so same thing.
