I've never had such a feeling in a poker room. I haven't played there in a month and a half, has anything changed?
It's funny, I always look at the floor as the police of the room. Here, I feel that they are either corrupt or just incompetent. Either way, it scares me to play there.
Depends on who is flooring at the time. Kinda not really.
Where some are incompetent, any major situation will get ruled correctly. If you don't like an immediate ruling you can call one of the supervisors who do all know the rules. You can always request to go over their head if it comes to that.
The problems lie in two things:
1. The ******** dealers. Solution: I go out of my way to move to a table with one of the better dealers at this point. It doesn't look like they care to fix the bad ones of fire ones who don't want fixing. When you get on a good dealers table though you get them for their entire shift due to the odd lack of rotations, which is nice.
2. A few bad low-management floor people that seem to focus more of cell phone use, head phones, and other pointless things, then actual poker. They put their attention in the wrong areas, and go way overboard. Solution: Get a good dealer who knows the game, and also protect your action/hand. I treat it like I do when I play with an angleshooter at the table.
Sucks that the player has to do a little extra work, but I love how loose and easy the play is. My win rate justifies that bit of inconvenience.
