are you saying that in some parts of the united states i cant expect english only to be enforced? I actually find that very shocking/surprising. So if the patrons are bilingual why would it be difficult to expect them to speak english during hte hand. It isn't as if they can't. Are the dealers required to be bilingual english/spanish? If the dealer can not understnad what they are saying during the hand, how can the dealer enforce the rules/run the game?
You should understand that in the Miami area spanish is the primary language. When I got to the casino, all the staff and most of the patrons were speaking spanish. At the table itself, english was used to run the game, but with the players it was 50/50 split most of the time. Not every spanish speaker spoke fluent english and vice versa. I did not think it affected the integrity of the game in any way however.
