Correct that the only plo game that runs is 5-10 and nothing smaller?

You certainly can play $300 and be successful, but you should understand that you are essentially playing a short stack in a 2/5 game. Don't go there expecting the 1/3 to play like 1/2 or 1/3 games elsewhere. Opens are generally $15 unstraddled and $20-25 straddled.
I never said the games don't get deep. But getting deep and playing big are different. I said playing 100bb never made me feel short. Yes Nola harrahs has deep tables but I have seldom seen those stacks try to play th big stack bully. Also $15 to open is not uncommon at many 1-3 games away from Nola.

And while I have not played a bunch there, I have played there several times and all of these were weekends and I have never been at a table with over 50% straddles. I am not saying those games don't exist but if you found yourself at one and it was not a game you want to play, a table change would be easy and unlikely to get moved to a second table like that.

PLO hardly ever runs at any level. The 5-10 game that used to run every Friday has moved on. Every now and then a 5-5 or 5-10 game starts, sometimes they have a 1-2 PLO list but I don't think they've spread 1-2 PLO for over a year. The week that the WSOP circuit is in town is different and there will be lots of PLO games that week.

High only and it runs every Tuesday and Friday, has been for years. Game gets started around 8 am on each of those days and runs for 18-24 hours most days.

Going to play a side event, the main is out of my budget right now. Was looking at the turbo possibly or the 6 max.

I will be in town a few days to play the 365 6-max and 365 monster. Have come the last couple years, cash games are very soft with the series in as well.

Hey everyone... Passing through in late July and I'm curious about two things: does 2/5 run with any regularity? What's the deal with regular or valet parking for a Diamond member? Probably staying at a different hotel but considering parking at Harrahs (I'll be playing there anyway) to avoid paying like $30-40 a day.

Have a business trip and planning to make a visit to Harrah's early August. What's the biggest NL game they have running on Monday-Wednesdays?

Valet is free for diamond. For non-diamond on weekends or special events it can be $40 even up to $100 I saw one time.

If you park in the garage then you don't have to play the 30 minutes for the free parking since Diamond is covered on that as well.

any benefit to Platinum members for valet/self parking or do you need to play?

Diamond and stars free. All other levels pay. I think they all pay same rate. If they hand you a white ticket it will be free. Green means you pay

I'm going to be in the area for a long weekend soon. Can I expect the limit Omaha high game to run pretty much all weekend? And for table games like pai gow poker and blackjack, what are the minimums like on the weekend? $25? Thanks in advance.

I'm going to be in NOLA from March 4 - 8 (mostly weekdays). Can I get some decent live 1/3 action at Harrah's? When would you recommend?

(I'm new to the 2 + 2 forum) TIA

I was there last week, Mon - Thur. My only time playing NL there, so regs would obviously know better, but I played from more-or-less 6:00pm - 1:00am every night, had no problem getting on a table (don't think I ever waited more than 15 minutes), and they typically had 4-6 tables going of 1/3 NL ($300 maximum BI at new table, but could BI to match biggest stack at any time, plus could straddle preflop from any position). Actually only saw a 2/5 game go once in the 4 nights, but I'm guessing that isn't a big a deal since the match-a-stack-BI rule allows for a pretty big 1/3 NL game.

Not sure if it was because Mardi Gras was on or what, but action swawed between meh to ok to OMG-this-is-the-best-game-I've-ever-played-in.

Watch out for those wonky colour chips though and make sure you know what kinda of stack you're up against!

Will be in town St Patrick's day. I see a 4/8 half n half right now on bravo. Is this nl/plo? Any plo games ever break out? Anyone got an idea what games the drinking holidays bring?

How big are the starting stacks in that 15/30 game?
