Is this a good poker room to play full time? I'm moving to Townsend TN soon which is about 50 miles away. Do 2/5 and 5/10 NL games run regularly? How are the comps here?

I would suggest using Bravo to see when the games are running. 1/2 and 2/5 do run regularly during the week with 5/10 more so on the weekends.
As far as the comps, I'm not sure what the rate is.

several 2/5 games run daily. 5/5 plo runs all weekend (it runs deep.) usually only see 5/10 nl during the big circuit events but there is the occasional interest list for it on the board. 1/2 is always running.

As long as the 2/5 games run regularly it's all good. I'm currently in Toledo where 2/5 rarely runs up at Hollywood and when it does it breaks fast. I'll add Harrah's to my favorites on Bravo. Thanks guys.

rc's and tc's are the same as the other Ceasar's properties.

I assume TCs reset the 1st of the year like most places. $1/hr for RCs is better than nothing I guess. Anyone ever have any luck with room comps partial or otherwise?

Tc's reset Jan 1st. If you want a free room you better shoot for 7 Star. Diamond might get a discount if a room is available (which is almost never.)

I'm diamond and have had rooms comped there the last 3 times I've been. Three consecutive days each time. Weekdays only though, no weekends.

Does anyone have a go to close hotel for here? The place I stayed at last time was a little too far away for me. Also willing to split a room at the casino for the WSOP event if anyone is looking.

I stayed in Sylva at the Holiday Inn Express. Was only a fifteen minute drive. Good hotel I'd stay at again.

Days Inn, Fairfield, Stonebrook, HolidayInn Express.

All of these are directly across street from the casino.

At the time of this reply they were all showing available rooms during the event at around $130 a night, but these rooms will go quickly and the price will go up.

i stayed at holiday inn express last saturday night for 150.00. room was very clean, good shower, free breakfast. i booked it at 8:30pm the night before and there were a bunch of rooms available across a bunch of hotels. There was no show or concerts in town though.
