I wish they could get a 1-2Plo game during the week. I play 1-2nl regular and love it. This is my home casino.

Will they have the SnG's at the WSOP event in April ?

SNG's run as soon as the first event starts, go all day/night and very popular at this stop. It is normal to have 10+ running at once with even a few still going at 2am. Most of the lower buyins (I think $70 and $125?) tend to run the first weekend with the larger buyins more popular over the second weekend.

The staff, especially Jamie, is constantly announcing SNG's and even if the theatre is full of tournament tables they will hold SNG's in the outer tables by the concession stand. SNG tables seem to take precedent over cash game tables that overflow from the poker room.

If you want to start a higher buyin you can, staff does not care what you run/how you chop, etc.

Bottom line-SNG heaven

I don't play poker often but when I do I play at harrahs Cherokee.
Super soft poker room.
There is a really good PLO player that came up from Florida and made 45k in 3 days in the 5-5 PLO game!!!!! Wow, just wow!!!

Have they ever got a PLO8 game running? I know BigO runs during the circuit. Anyone know if they have ever spread PLO8 during the circuit?

Looking forward to heading out to Cherokee in 2 weeks. Going to spend 3-4 days there. How are the nightly tourneys that start at 6ish? Worth playing if busting in the events? Contemplating just playing cash instead.

Nightlies during the WSOPC can get a couple hundred players+ however the rake is pretty steep. I would check out a result sheet, see how long the event took and then decide if it is worth your time. The SNG's are a blast as it gets later so you might want to consider mixing those in as well.

Cash games are always going to be good, circuit or no circuit.

Thanks SM. Ahh didn't even think about the sit-n-gos. Are there any cash sit-n-gos or are they usually just qualifiers? Good tip on the results sheet, I'll definitely have to check that out when I get there.

SNG's are all cash, no lammers or direct entries to events -they have the Megas for that. SNG run almost 24/7. Mostly $70 and $125 the first weekend but usually you can get a $200 going as people bust. WSOP staff will let you pretty much let you do whatever denomination you want and chop however you would like.

If you are planning to play the morning events I suggest SNG's instead of the nightly's, the nightly can go until 3-5 in the am.

Bump....Super stoked for some 1-2 nl at Harrah's Cherokee...For those looking for hotels check sylva, NC. It's about 30 minutes from Cherokee and has a small town feel. Pro tip - try innovation brewing if you are in sylva. The craft beer is brewed on site and is quite simply the best/freshest you will find. They also have a food truck. You won't regret this recommendation.

Shocked to not see a thread in the MTTC section, so decided to ask here. Looking for structure sheets...especially the Double Stack Turbo and 250 Deepstack on Easter. I'm familiar with the others.

I have asked for the Deepstack structure for 2 months and no response. Looks like Cherokee is the first one to have the event and will be repeated in NO.

At this point just planning to play it regardless.

According to FAQs on Cherokee site, sng's will now payout casino chips rather than lammers....That's new

Haven't been to Cherokee since December. Have they bumped the Buy in max at the 1/2 tables yet?

Thanks guys.
I can't be the only one that hates the $200 max! I honestly think it makes it harder to sit and grind for long sessions because of new players not being able to sit down with more $ later into the evening.
