You can get food from the food court and bring it back (though I hate it when people eat and play).

The poker waitresses can only bring crappy beers, like Bud and Corona. But there's a full bar with a bunch on tap next door, and of course their glasses don't fit in the cup holders in the table.

I get IPA delivered all day from the drink girl.

When I was last there on Friday there were menus for the sushi place.
And that comment about only getting crappy beers delivered is wrong.

They must have changed their policy then. When I went on the first week they said they could only deliver bottles, not draft beer from the bar next door.

I took this one on opening day last November. It's from the front right corner of the room so there are several more tables out of screen on the right.

Any word on if they have a regular tournament schedule? Can't seem to find any info on their website or poker atlas. Was going to call but figured i'd ask here first.

Apropos of not much: $301,500 as a bad beat jackpot for quad deuces cracked is about as good as it gets. I've seen $500,000 at another room, but no lower than quad eights cracked to qualify.

Anybody know what happened to the bad beat jackpot?

It was up to 350k, today it's 182k according to Bravo. I'm guessing they didn't pay it out otherwise it would now be much less, maybe they split it in two?

The Bad Beat Jackpot hit. That's the backup.

So when are they going to build the hotel to truly make it a resort?

Visiting from the East for a few days. Thoughts Graton vs. Petaluma 101?

Depends on what you want to play. 101 doesn't usually have NL cash. Graton doesn't have tournaments. 101 runs 2/5/10 PLO usually Mondays, Wednesdays, and sometimes Saturdays. Graton runs 2/5 PLO 3-5 days a week. Both have low limit LHE, and LO8 at times; Graton will have more tables of LHE running.

I think 101 is spreading $1/$3 NL now to compete with Graton, but I'm not positive. Graton added 2 more tables to the room in hopes to accommodate the massive waiting list that they have on Friday/Saturday nights.

Graton hosted 1 tournament in March, has not been another since.

Thanks folks.

Tried out Graton. Nice room. I'm impressed. I especially like being able to get to drink service whenever I want a few steps away.

Played some 1/3 and 2/5. Pretty fun. I could see it being a great room on weekends.

I'm not far from Rohnert Park for this visit. Any other rooms within 2-3 hours I should check out, while visiting my buddy, or is Graton about as good as it gets for Nor Cal?

Thx

Depends on what you want. There's a room south of SF, about 70 miles away. There are 2 rooms in San Jose, 100 miles away. They probably don't offer anything you can't get there though, other than bigger stakes LHE.
