Lol ya. Carnival game. Belongs in the pit but they didn't have room. 90 day trial period in poker room. It will never go. Its like a cross between hold-em, chinese, pai gow, its basically ******ed lol.

They go everyday except Wednesday. Dailys during the week get between 35-50

How easy is the game? Are they a bunch of 44 vs a10 coin flippers or do they actually know how to grind and win a tournament?

Just spent the last two days here. I come more for the people than phenomenal games. A couple of loose cannons always makes for a +EV trip.
The highlights of the trip were A) 4 bet shoving on the biggest angle shooter in the city and spiking a set in the window.

Last night his slow rolling asking to see hands he's not involved in and other typical shenanigans persisted. So when I shoved on his open to $50 on a $6 pot he snapped called. AK for me AQ for him. I was racking up before the dealer even finished pushing the pot my way. RoFL. I hate angle shooters. Did he steam and pubt more after I left anyone know? This $ smells so good. Lol

Highlight of the night IMO. I felted him for $250 shortly after you left. Flopped a set vs his flopped straight. Boated on turn. Game over. Entertainment value here sometimes is worth the price of admission. GN rocks!

Cracked aces promo starting every Saturday.
Cool promo today whole casino was 4x comps and tier pts, in addition to the poker room being double comps and tier points. Casino will also be 4x on Monday.

So for todays session, i will have earned $1.50x2= $3/hr x 12hrs= $36. Then x4 for the casino promo = $144 comp dollars.
$12/hr to play cards. And i averaged $34/hr for my session. $46/hr. Not to shabby


And tier points 30/hr x2= 60points x 12hrs = 720 points. Then x4. Thats 2,880 tier points.

I confirmed this with poker room management as well as the promotions desk.

Was this a one time deal today, or will it be going on again. stacked multipliers on comps and tier credits is definitely +EV in my book. If so when are they running it again? Thanks

Yes. The entire casino will be 4x. Nugget is weird, poker is not considered a separate entity, they consider it mostly part of table games.

Just got an email. This coming Friday the 8th the entire casino will be 5X tier points, and 5X Tesla entry. So the poker room has 2X on Friday and the casino 5X so tier pints out the wazoo.

Will give a short review of this room.

I only spent 20 minutes or so in there Wednesday night. I had heard the games were good there and I figured since I was in the city and only going to play a couple of hours before heading home I would check it out.

The location is awesome. At the top of the escalator, so I don't have to walk all the way through the casino? Thank you. At the bottom of the escalator was a Starbucks, which is a plus, but it was closed.

The room is really nice. The lounge area to wait was comfortable. The floor lady I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

The games looked bad. Maybe one person under 40.

Tables looked nice, but I didn't see any charging stations.

I got there and got on the 1/2 list. Waited. A few more names were added. I heard the floor discuss opening a new game for what seemed like 20 minutes or so. I even heard a floor ask someone if they were ready to deal yet.

Perhaps it was because there was only one table going, but there seemed to be a couple of very belligerent, unpleasant individuals in the room playing. I asked the floor if they were regulars and got the sense they were.

So rather than keep waiting, I headed across the street to Harrah's.

Sounds like the nugget to me.

Yes. 4+2. Just like anywhere else you play basically. $4 for house and then $2 for promos
