I'll take the under for my whole bankroll.

I played it like 3 weeks ago and there was only 11 players. I got 2nd and came home with a whopping 330 dollars.

I'll be thrilled if this gets 25+.... is anybody from 2p2 thinking of playing?

I always have intentions of playing the 9am 120 tourney every sunday, but can never get my ass up in time....

As long as I'm not still in the 120 at 1pm, ill definitely be playing the PLO.

I'm going with Jensri on this one. Not sure if she's still there, but I'm a fan.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

The PLO tourney ended up with 3 tables.... I think it was somewhere around 23-24 total..... big improvement over a few weeeks ago.

I really found the whole tournament very tilting though.... 3 or 4 people at my table taking about 5 minutes to look at there cards not only before the flop, but after the flop, the turn and the river.... how hard is it to either memorize what you have from one look at it pre flop, OR take a 2 second look at the cards. Why play a game that you are not familiar with at all, figuring you have to look at the cards... the board.... your cards... the board.... and the cards again. I found it to be one of the most tilting things ever.

I busted early on a bluff.... some guy calls me down for about 4k total with 10xxx on a board that consisted of KK 10 x x.... with potential straights and flushes on the board..... oh, live players.

Went on to play 2/5, made 300 dollars and left after an hour.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

oh, by the way.. this hand happens about 2 weeks ago but never got around to posting it.... is the floor's decision correct?

I'll lay off the strategy and say that I had AA and villain had Kx

He flops top pair and then hits trips on the river.

I bet flop and turn, but check on the river.... he bets 50, and i call figuring that i was getting like 4 to 1.

He says trips.... flips over just the K....

I showed my aces in front of me to show that he sucked out.. but my cards never pass the betting line.

throws his cards toward the dealer... but only showed 1.

Dealer gives me the pot....

Villain's pissed off.... very unexperienced... and gives dealer hard time "I had 3 kings... i win"... dealer said " u only showed one card."

She calls floor over... first floor says i think thats the aces pot, let me get my higher up.

The higher up decides that since he showed the King, its his pot but if he does it again, he won't get another warning.

Did I have a right to be pissed? Besides the obvious fact that he sucked out on me big time.... Would it be angling if I fought it?

I let it go and didn't argue much... but did feel like I probably should have gotten the pot. I still dont know exactly what his 2nd card is so thats bull**** in itself... he said he had k7 and he seemed to b e bad enough that he would play that.

Yes, it would be an angle shot if you tried to get that pot. The guy had the best hand, regardless of his other card.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

^^I agree, he won the pot end of story. the fact that you didn't immediately surrender the pot to him is kind of ****ty of you. If you were online, you lose and that's it, so what is the difference? you are essentially trying to cheat him out of the pot.

I can't picture Jensri for some reason. but I think there are like 4 or 5 cute dealers there.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

What do you mean surrender the pot??

I was given the pot, but obviously didnt take the chips and stack them.... I just left them where she put them.

When the floor came, I never said a word.... Didn't argue and wasnt even me that called the floor over, nor did I say anything about him flipping over one word.

I was just wondering whats everyones take on the decision... Everyone at the table thought it should have been my pot since he only showed one card then threw it in the muck. I didn't open my word to say a word about anything the whole time so I find it its very difficult to call me a "cheat".
