Thank you, sir. I checked online and looks like Pequot is an option for that price range, although not over 7/4 weekend. Apparently the on-property hotels = sold out.

np. And I'm not surprised they're already sold out for that weekend.

Anyone play the 12pm $400 NL bounty on Saturdays? If so, how many runners does it average and how do you like it compared to the other daily regular tourneys?

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

Does anyone know why the WSOP main event satellites at Foxwoods were cancelled?

Just when you thought you have seen/heard everything, here's another 1st:

Playing 2/5 the other night...
A thugged-out dude with a blinged watch, gold chains, necklace, baseball cap half-tilted and straight brimmed turns over his cards, shows aces and FOLDS it pre-flop (?!?!?!?!) and tells everyone (including chick behind him) that "I told myself if I got this hand, I would get up and go"

...wow

I was at the table as well...just posted about it in the Mohegan forum because there was a multi-page discussion about folding AA pre-flop in cash games. Guess he's not alone in his reasoning.

Another solid moment from bling-guy was when he shoved all-in, paused, then threw his Benz keys in the pot along with the chips. While raking in the pot with a straight face...he said something along the lines of, "Usually when someone throws keys to a Benz in the pot...it means they have the other player dominated." Continues stacking his chips.

I usually play for points.

...At the end of the night, I give any of the winnings to the professional looking 80yr old security guards who make me feel safe and secure.

I checked around about summer room rates. I was told there was an influx of convention reservations which caused them to pull a lot of the comps. I reserved the Mega-stack dates just in case...$99 to $129+ per night during that week, at least for me. Booo

Usually it means he has a 93 Honda station wagon and a Benz key chain.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

Man, FW is really doing a great job getting some hot cougar waitresses on weeknights lately. It was like my own MILF Island last night. Had some broad in her late 40's-mid 50's with a gigantic rack who was just killing it, and was bringing me daquiris and mixed drinks without me even having to ask her after the 3rd time (managed to have about 7 within 2 1/2 hours).

Also, befriend the waitresses at Stadium Club. The food is garbage there (they spend way too much time on presentation/look of it), but if you tip well and are friendly, they'll gladly put 2-4 shots in your mixed drinks for a very reasonable price (I even managed to get a Zombie last time). And of course 10% discount for a AAA card at Hard Rock.

Ya, I like the beverage servers new uniforms. I gotta disagree about the Stadium food, it has always been excellent for me. Service is spotty, 1 or 2 waitresses are airheads but the bar is great. Thanks for the tip on the shots.
