The Friday before +500. Before that I haven't been there since Oct.. This year is turning out pretty good so far.

BTW 1-2 NL
was just there for the 560 megastack finished 20th or so , frustrating. players were so awful saw so many ppl opening for 5-10x deep in the tourney was crazy.

have PLO games been going on during weekends? How about during tournament weekends? I'm hoping to play some PLO during the tournament series next month. I'm looking for 2/5, 5/5, or 5/10 PLO. lmk

During last Foxwoods Poker Classic we had some PLO(1-2) and NLHE/PLO 5/10 Mix.

1-2 PLO is becoming more regular on weeknights/weekends.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

yeah execpt that all the regs always want to play PLO/PLO8 or just striaght PLO8 which kills it for new players. half the time end up with a bunch of nitty 4/8 O8b players or something.

1/2 HA or 2/5 PLO would be soooooo much better IMO

talk about games of the future....HA, my opinion is the casino who first gets a regular 1/2 and 2/5 HA game is going to get a lot of biz.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

yeah I mean the borg has a semi regular 1/2 PLO game with lots of action. but AFAIK its always just straight PLO. The few times I have played just PLO at FW the action has been great once or twice. but there has been few times that the PLO8 action has been very good IMO. that might have just been the times I played or whatever, but it just seems like a very complicated game for newb players to hop into. Ive seen plalyers just plop down a hundo or something get quartered and be like WTF this game sucks and never play again.

It is a super game for nits which is why I suspect alot of regs push for it because you can just nit it up untill you happen to get in a situation where you are free rolling for 3/4 the pot. just think reg PLO for the newb is more easy to understand for new players and they have a better chance of actully winning once and a while.

Re: The Foxwoods Poker Thread

somebody said the 560 mega stack got 240 runners i believe it was around 400 actually. so whats the word on the 1-2plo during the week? does it run regularly or do u have to make an interest list?

and ya im a longtime lurker, used to grind 1-2nl for a living 7 years ago before i got into online. would sleep in my car occasionally or stay at the hilltop, was such a noob didnt realize i coulda been staying at the casino comped prolly.

btw bellismo is the best hotel around the casino by far if u arent staying in foxwoods, tempurpedic beds, flat screen tvs and wireless internet what more could u ask for.
