Sat down at a new 4/8 table at about 4:30. Dealer tray was full of reds and greens, maybe $50 in yellow and about the same whites.

Went to the cage for chips. Dealer asked for a fill. Floor said "OK".

Left the table at 8:15. No fill yet.

Check-in at Fox Tower. 25 people in line. 9 front desk stations. 3 people working.

Up in the room, my wife noticed that neither the phone nor the clock was working. Called for service. On hold over 2 hours.

I assume you both have cell phones that have the time and can make calls. I can't imagine a scenario where waiting on hold to service the clock and phone would be worth it. Possibly as an angle shoot for free room, but even then I doubt its worth 2 hours.

We've stayed at Foxwoods in the average 5x per year for 15 years and believe me, service in general has deteriorated rapidly in the last couple of tears

BTW are you saying being on hold for 2 hours wasn't an attempt for a free room? My bad if that's the case. I may have jumped to an assumption when you told a story about using a phone that was working to complain about a phone that didn't work, and somehow without a working clock knew it was 2 hours on hold, with the end result being a free room.

Having played over 500 hours of 2/5 NL at FW this year the games aren't as good as some places but they are better then Vegas right now. They are far from dreadful and very beatable.

But that game doesn't run all the time. 75/150 stud seems to always be going so would that be a better option? Plus only having to play 1 game at a time would make my studying go a whole lot easier. Perhaps I'm just being too conservative in my thinking....something I should work on in the future.

I guess I should have expected it since others have already been downgraded. I got a mail today saying "YOUR REWARDS. YOUR WAY". My $75 BSP has been split into 3 weeks, starting June. 6/1-6/10, 6/11-6/20, 6/21-6/30.

I'm surprised I can no longer attached files, otherwise I would attach a pic of the promotion.

They are really squeezing poker players. This change and the reduction of free rooms now make it much less likely I come to Foxwoods. I doubt they care.

That change has nothing to do with poker players. I'm a high level Diamond and they did it to me months ago. But I still know people who can still get the whole thing at once. I have not found out any rhyme or reason behind why they choose who they do.

It looks like it's happening across the board. Borgata has reduced free rooms, I used to be able to get Sat rooms but now I'm also losing Club rooms. Sands is actually raising their rake, justifying that it will be for the bad beat. Guys over there aren't too happy.
