Most likely would come to a chop situation though.

3 betting in position very light at 2/5 NL at foxwoods... I have played with all the regs and I am very good at paying attention to how people are playing. 3 betting narrows the field to heads up most of the time and a lot of players have very wide ranges, such as QJs middle position or KQo under the gun and they will raise.

If I am very good at reading other players cards, I would assume 3 betting any 2 cards in position and playing your opponent would be profitable.

An example would be... Lets say I have 78s on the button and the UTG raises to 25 and there are 5 callers to me..... Lets say I make it 85$... This automatically narrows everyones range depending on what they do... If I flat call here, I am playing bingo and thats upstairs... Lets say the UTG flat calls my 85$ bet and everyone else folds... Ok... Well.... Would he flat call with AA or KK or QQ? These are already counted out 95% of the time... What would he flat with? Any pair, suited high cards, AKo/AQo..... At this point I have him going to the folop fit or fold and the power is in my hands.... I think this is the best strategy at these 2/5NL tables.

Has anybody played the $300 tournament on saturdays? How many players does it generally get?

Also, the website says 25k starting stack but does anyone know the blind level length?

Cool story, bro.

For real though, you're on track that most Foxwoods 2-5 regs are fit-or-fold nits. I think you're just *a little* off base about how to exploit them lol.

Give me a table where a UTG open raise gets 5 callers, and I can maybe think of a couple of ways it could be profitable to sit here.

It's 30 minute levels, the structure is up on their website:

SATURDAYS $300 NLH

I haven't played it in awhile, but would guess it gets anywhere between 125-175 players.

The "excruciating" part won't be playing 10 handed. It would be having to listen to the Omaha regs talk. Including the most misery SOB (who won a car & the BBJ!) but still whines & cries at the poker tables

Played the $600 NL instead tho GL either way!

Absolutely. Of course,

Give me a table where a 25 UTG raise gets 5 callers then an 85 squeeze results in a HU situation and I'll swim across the river for him ESPECIALLY if the original raiser flats. That baby is going 4 to flop min and possibly 6-7 in certain games.

Squeezing through that much pre-flop action that squeeze must be a min of 110 and probably more.

My mailer says 3x tier credits on may 7 and may 19, anyway to confirm this will apply to poker as well? They advertised this on bravo last month, but I don't see it on there for may yet.

Anyone going to play next Monday ( 4/24 ) for the poker Monday madness high hand giveaway? $1,000 Every hour & half hour also $500 every quarter of & quarter after the hour. I don't normally play Mondays but should at least bring a fair turnout?

I received a mailer regarding a "complimentary cruise for two aboard a celebrity cruise line". The options are "Bahamas, Bermuda, Caribbean, or Pacific Coastal". Has anyone here ever taken advantage of this offer? Can you tell me about the experience? Thanks

Just two FYI's:
-I could not get promo rooms online for tomorrow, all hotels said rooms not available. I called the 800 number, just in case it was an error because i did cancel a free room already for the same day. So they did have rooms available on the phone and I did book Great Cedar. So if your looking for a room and the site says no, it can't hurt to give it a shot. Not sure if it was only an online glitch with the new system since I already claimed the offer once. It did not show up under accepted offers though. Who knows, this was booked before the crappy rollout of their new system.

-They gave me the recording saying "high caller volume, the wait is 30-45 minutes" and just as I was getting ready to hang up, they answered. It was like 30 seconds. So if they give you a long wait time, I guess it can't hurt to hold on a couple minutes just to see.

Yes I've found that canceling a room won't free up the promo for reuse. It's an online glitch since the new reservation system rolled out.

They finally changed the site so you don't have to search for rooms per hotel, they show all the hotels for the dates selected like before. Took long enough.

But did they really take away the option to cancel a hotel room online?

No? Are you inside 48 hours?

No. Is there another way to do it besides the itinerary page?

All that shows up there for me right now are event reservations, all of my hotel reservations are missing:
