I used to play at Foxwoods before i self excluded. I played $5-$25 slots for a few visits, ran up 1000 points, and had suites and made gold in 2 weeks. I got too out of control, dumped $8k in casinos around the area and decided to quit gambling. They are good to you if you put in the play.

I am looking to find someone to share rooms with at Foxwoods to stay 4 nights a week. currently I receive 2 hotel rooms per week Sunday- Thursday and have reservations through the end of February. If I didn't have a good paying job and if they hadn't dumped the poker black card, I would have loved to try to be a pro for a year. Now it's not really worth it.

Does anyone have information on the Winter Freeze series in Feburary? Or when the next big poker series will be? Really enjoyed my time at Foxwoods in early December and looking for a tournament series to give me a reason to travel back. Can't beat Panera bread for breakfast every morning and endless dinner options to choose from.

Gotta say, the 8 hour train ride up north though is awful.

No need to panic. People who get Friday nights typically get them a few days before weeknight-only folks. I'm guessing Mr ATM got his Friday nights back, and that bmoney has it too.

You would be correct after a one month hiatus I got them back... not really sure why I lost them but trying to figure out their comp system is like splitting the atom.

If I remember correctly last month everybody got their offers pretty much at the same time (really late) figured everyone got them at the same time again... go figure

It seems to vary month to month now when they come out, it's not consistently ~15th for weekend offers and ~20th for weekday ones anymore *shrug*

They either don't know or don't care that they can't beat the rake. It's just like playing a slot machine to them. Slot players know they're losing money to the house but they play anyway because it's fun to try to hit a big jackpot.

Revisting the "extra tier credit days" discussion, it came up on their Facebook page recently, and whoever runs the Foxwoods page stated that it's a bumped up TC/pt rate, from 4 to 5 (or from 2 to 3 or 1 to 2, depending on game type)... not the one-and-done bonus of 5 TC.

Did anyone actually play on 1 of these days that can confirm how the promo actually ran? A shock to no one, different Foxwoods employees have different explanations.

Just came back from playing 1/2 on Sunday and Monday. Sunday was a 5 tier day and Monday was a regular 4 tier day. The way it works is that for each poker game you play you earn comp points at a certain hour rate. For 1/2 NL, it is 1.7. So for 1 hour at 1/2, you would get 1.7 times 5 = 8.5 tier credits on Sunday. I did play about 9 hours on Sunday and received 76.5 tier credits. Hope this help.
