I could see them lobbying for (and getting) a Poker Room Eventually tho.

Especially with Twin River now having one.

I think the Southeastern MA and Boston licensees would have a problem with that, as they're supposed to be a slot parlor only. This is probably better moved to the New England thread if this part of discussion moves forward, since that has been the de facto MA Casino thread.

Plainridge was not selected to receive one of the states 3 full casino/resort licenses the received the states sole slot parlor license which does NOT include table games.

WSOPC schedule is out for august, courtesy of the wsopc thread.

http://www.foxwoods.com/worldseriesofpoker.aspx

Things that stick out: Event 1- $580 $500k guarantee. mimicking the $600 FPC.
Event 5- $365 20k starting stack which seems to be a new thing.
Event 7- $365 plo
Main event- has 2 starting days (Aug 14/15) instead of having morning/evening day 1s.

I like the two starting days instead of two flights on one day.

How are the numbers for the daily tournaments... The $160 on Friday the $300 on Saturday?

Friday 6pm gets about 150 and Sat 11am gets about 125 during spring/summer time.

The new Foxwoods website is horrible. The login menu does not even work half of the time. Really surprised they launched the new website with all the glitches.

I agree the new site is awful, but this is the first time I've had an issue logging in.

I think it'll have negligible impact on weekdays and only a small impact on weekends. Twin River poker is what will be felt the most.

Just left a very sour taste in my mouth
Are they reducing the BBJ that's in play? If not I don't see how they are changing how the PAST drop is spent.

No, they're simply funding the HH promotions out of current jackpot rake. This does reduce the rate at which the BBJ builds up, but doesn't affect the existing pool.
But those who object to using the BBJ pool for HH "because they paid into it" are being silly. No matter how much rake you have paid in the past toward the BBJ (and I've paid $1,000's), you have no more actual right to the BBJ going forward than the guy who walks in off the street and plays one hand.

At tables, no. But they have charging stations that you can lock your devices in, in the room.
