Rake is the same and promotions are on the website.
I'm from Montreal, we have two major options, the Montreal Casino which is one of the worst run poker room. Games are softer but they don't have many tables and keep long wait list instead of opening more games. No comps or promotion either.
The other option is the Playground Poker Club, very well run, but it's poker only, no casino, so the caliber is higher. But food and drinks are free.
Both have pretty high rake (10% up to 8$ max, I think or something close).
I love the casino ambiance and what it brings to the tables, but what I like about my weekends at foxwoods was that being away from home, for 3 days, my only occupation was playing poker, no other distractions or responsibility
