Yes you can. But they have a eliminated a lot of the "top shelf" brands.

From my experience, it's a hit or miss with getting top shelf. For example, one side of the room may allow it while the other won't. Or you can get it playing certain stakes.

Agree. Last year during the opening WSOPc, I was able to get two free rooms each week and reduced rates for the others. Last year I was able to stay for like 10 days at an affordable $500. Now the only promotions I receive are $99GPT/$89GCH/$69FOX/$49TT plus tax and resort fee. Mind you that these promotions are almost always "booked" even a month in advance. I for one am interested in seeing how much this will affect the turnout for the WSOPc. I know 5 other people that are not going because they are in the same boat as me.

Yeah I would be able to get rooms even during WSOP and other tourney times at 3 weeks in advance. This summer even July had no offers. Very weird, maybe they are doing better and don't need to comp. I remember hearing from a lot of people a year ago they were struggling, but with the addition of the outlets they might just be doing very well.

Schwartz is banned yes. Beyond nuked actually (his account was completely wiped). Look for the 'stealthmunk' thread in NVG if interested about it, it's naturally been active lately.

the final 200-300 left in the main looked like the World Series of Foxwoods. So many east coast regs made deep runs this year

Yeah.. Just proves that for top poker east coast is best. Should be good for the room once ESPN starts showing the telecast and hopefully mention Foxwoods at least one time.

Room got busy yesterday during the high hand promos...funny hearing the guys at 1/2 and 2/5 NL talking about it so much considering stud/limit tables were winning the vast majority of the prizes.

There was one notable 2/5 NL game with 20-25k on the table, lots of action there, at one point 8 players had transfer requests to move there.
