re: Foxwoods Resort·Casino (Mashantucket, CT) -- FAQ added 2012.03.08
Today the dealer cut his finger somehow. He sat out to go get a band aid. The floor guy sat in and dealt a hand while he was up. Floor guy dealt me pocket aces.

Burkes
Craft (best spot for steak)
Juniors
CPK
Cedars
Still have never ate at the Chinese place. And Shrine kind of sketches me out. Sushi was just ok, and it struck me as a spot that could slack on cleanliness.

Chinese place is excellent

Must be nice to give someone a dose of run good since you refuse to do it for me. Runner runner, pftttt.

Was Junior in the 1 seat?
Glad to hear that the rooms stayed busy all weekend.
Unfortunately, the holidays are make it to where I wont be able to play much for the next 6 weeks.
This question is probably best for Lattimer. I told you about my MIL wishing to take her mother to the Kenny Rogers concert on the 17th. Do you think that if I begged and pleaded and offered to give up all 10 of my December rooms that they would give me tickets instead?

Well obviously zero days will hurt your daily average, so that's bad in itself. However they carry an extra penalty - if you accumulate too many zero days, they will snap remove all of your offers altogether.

Haha oh man. You'd think they would, because obviously the value of 10 rooms >>>> 2 kenny rogers tix. But that place makes dollars, not sense. I guess you can ask a host, worst case they say no. If you get shot down let me know.

+1 - I sat in for about an hour. No interesting pots, no interesting stories. With the exception of one rules nit who kept announcing how proud he was to keep the straddle at 4 (instead of 5 to make the math easier) and an older gentleman who kept complaining about raise size on pot bets (he's a reg at the Omaha 8 game) everyone was pretty ordinary. Not enough drunks for a good PLO game.
I went back to the 10/20 LHE game where there was money to be made.

Tokes, gold in 4 trips equals an average of 200 pints a trip now that's degen! lol
If it was on blackjack while he was on a heater and played many hours straight good for him which means he made some type of dough! Slots from what I think it's one point for every 80 bucks worth of play meaning to make gold it's about 64K worth of play, that's ouch right there

re: Foxwoods Resort·Casino (Mashantucket, CT) -- FAQ added 2012.03.08
FW has a shopping card promo this week: "You will receive a $25 promotional card for every 25 Dream Points you earn" from 6 am Thursday 11/17 through Sunday 11/20. Does anyone know whether the Black Card double points qualify for this, or only the basic points (ie, is it 1.5 or 3 points/hour for this at 2/5)?
